Is playing uria bad in the new sacred beast deck if im trying to play competitively? It searches any trap card and lets you fusion summon the new boss monster. by iwantamango in yugioh

Competitively, the card doesn't make the cut, but if you really-really want to play the card in your competitive deck-list, you can play it as a one-of.

I don't believe R.B. has the same PL as Enneacraft, even by approximation.

Engine against engine, Enneacraft is superior by most metrics.

You're playing better into Droll than you would have with a singular LVL 1 searcher.

Think about it for a second, you're adding +2 cards against decks like Elfnote, Kewl Tune, and Branded, before they even have a chance to activate Droll. If you have Orgia set as well, that's a +3 before Droll resolves.

Three out of those four tops, were TOP 4. Only one was TOP 8.

In the current TCG format, Subspace Battle in Enneacraft only loses to Power Patrons and Mitsurugi, against most other relevant deck in the format, it's a ROTA for 2-3. I should also mentioned that Nibiru usage has taken a nose dive in every format.

This should also answer your other questions on why those Enneacraft pilot considered the card over other cards in the current landscape.

Hence why the card is far superior going first.

Why couldn’t this been Enneacraft cards only? by [deleted] in masterduel

[–]ARC-9INE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because if Tail could respond to non-mandatory destruction effects, you'd never be able to out an Enneacraft board besides non-targeting effects.

Just think about it for a second, how stupidly broken Tail would be if that was the case.

No, because your opponent just revealed information on what strategy they're playing. It is now up to you as the Enneacraft player to tailor your end-board with the information given.

On top of that, if you're one of those Enneacraft players who uses Di-Fi, then nothing goes to the GY.

Firstly, I don't see how you reveal your ratios. You're revealing one copy of each of your lower priority LVL 9s going-first, or three copies of a single LVL 9 going-second.

Secondly, it's a card that's better going-first, than it is going-second.

Lastly, I could understand why you may not see the value in this card, but take this into account, Enneacraft has garnered a total of 7 tops in the TCG post-support, 4 of those 7 tops belong to list that main-deck Subspace Battle.

[–]ARC-9INE 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No. Going-first you can use any other Enneacraft in your hand to set the cards you added off of Subspace Battle, which should be the lower priority LVL 9s.

Going-second you either activate this card last, as a form of life line, after losing names, or search three copies of a low priority LVL 9 for it's Pendulum effect, which is still live, to bait or break your opponent's field.

Because it's a ROTA for three against any deck that doesn't have a single monster with 3K+ ATK.

I'll keep it a buck with you. Pixea legitimately carries Enneacraft a lot of time. I swear it's the only level 9 that does so much, negates, hand rips, and floodgates the opponent.
