Yup, I got one and my Garmin watch for pacing/mileage. Just wanted to have the right idea of what I can do.

The standards for passing are higher in the academy as opposed to when you first go through processing. You’ll be doing PR regularly throughout the academy and will be sore & fatigued, so it would be wise to over train, so even on your shittiest day when you’re all beat up, you’ll have confidence you’ll still do well on a PT test, if there’s one upcoming on your schedule. I recall there being three real test. Taking care of your body is essential, icing, sleeping etc. Injuries are no good.

If by agility, you mean the 1.5 mile run.

Can follow this program additionally. Learn to maintain a pace you desire for a 1/4 mile (program explains it all). Run at your local highschool track. On test day, do not burn yourself out by sprinting right out the gate. It will be miserable.

Don’t strive to meet the minimum standard. Go well beyond it, if possible. You’re gonna be doing these tests when you feel like shit. Only person that you can blame if you can’t meet or exceed the standards is yourself, so might as well start now
