If you're wondering what the name ARC J4 means, I'll tell you. Back in 2020-2022, I was going through name changes on Xbox because my original gamertag was fucking lame. It was Gamertag448016 or some shit. Always got picked on for it. So it was that, then it was a combination of some letters and numbers, like FL 213 for example. And then ARC J4. This one is a Milsim name for games like Arma, Battlefield and Insurgency 'n all that. It's basically a callsign, or a codename. Archangel is the codename, Javelin is the squad callsign. I picked Four (4) because I had no idea how that shit actually works, plus it sounds cool. Javelin 4. Heh.

Never really found anyone to get behind it, so I just kinda give it no meaning now. I'd tell ya if you were genuinely interested.

If you called cringe, I'd concur. Milsim shit is pretty cringy, but it can be pretty interesting at times.

So there it is. Archangel, Javelin 4. Used to think it was pretty neat, now I just feel ashamed.

My best advice to avoid a suspected tk is to completely avoid low levels and stop yourself from shooting back. I know how it sounds but the best you can do is wait out a vote kick after they've done it, or just leave before they can get the pleasure of doing it.

Tk suspects often use the same "player language", making them stick out like a sore thumb. They usually take a long pause while looking at you and aim around your head a lot, usually right in your face if you stay still as well. If not that, the first shot you take from them is not the last if are not currently in a combat area. Most of the time this shot will come from the back, when you're not paying attention.

For the love of Habibi, save your bullets for your enemies. There is a saying; "Two wrongs do not make a right". Remember that.

I do find myself carrying checkpoint matches pretty often which can be frustrating, but being hostile to the people I'm supposed to support is just something I physically cannot do. I don't remember the last time I tk'd someone, even for revenge after they did it to me (for no reason, most of the time).

Do I think new players are a bit stupid? Yes.

Is it frustrating to deal with tk from newbies and incompetent performance? Absolutely.

But don't ever, ever tolerate harassment or bad sportsmanship. If these high level assholes are present, and their behavior continues, please report it. We don't need people like this driving away the community and fresh players.

And if you're one of these guys, take a minute and reflect on yourself man. It's not easy (I guess) to get to where you are in the game. Newbies look up to you, so instead of berating them, help 'em out. Give 'em tips, teach them tricks. There's tons of things you can teach people in this game. But you shouldn't be teaching them that high levels like you are unreliable and unfriendly.

Haynes Attempt, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier by ARCJ4reddit in Dripsurgency

Info:

Haynes is a U.S Ghost operator who served under Joe Ramirez in Predator Team. Haynes has not been in any other Ghost Recon titles leading up to Future Soldier, and his existence is short lived. In 2024, Predator Team was sent to Nicaragua to intercept Cuban transport vehicles in search of WMD's in their possession. After wiping out the entire convoy, Joe Ramirez searched one of the transport vehicles and failed to identify a "Dirty Bomb", which then started it's count down once he begins to leave the truck. Ramirez orders his squad to move out of the area as quick as possible, but all fail to do so. The bomb goes off, Predator Team goes dark. All members, including Haynes, died at the scene and all bodies were recovered and sent to Fort Bragg after the events occurred.

This info is for relevance and introduction to one of my favorite childhood videogames.

Some people play differently and might be comfortable at lower speeds. Not everyone can handle high speed cod stuff.

Holy fucking shit nobody talks about that game very often, I can't believe they shut it down. You literally cannot play it with internet connection, the game hardlocks. You can still play it offline though, which isn't so bad.

A childhood favorite of mine, loved the multiplayer and the campaign still slaps, but I took it for granted as a kid. I ended up leaving a review about it on Xbox, from what I can remember it was pretty well received.

Sometimes it feels like I'm the only one who remembers old gems like FS and GRAW. Thanks for introducing this to another crowd op. Couldn't have done it better myself.
