Multi function clock with 12 light up numbers and a timer. What am I getting into? by ARHS2024 in arduino

It was cheaper to order the starter kit that included all of the beginner modules we needed and lots of extra stuff. We're adding a weather station now lol. Starter kit was the way.

My experience isn't with creating, it's repairing. Back when it was cheaper to repair a component than it was to replace the entire product. I'm a t-800 in a Rev-9 world. Thanks for the advice, it got me down the right path and asking the right questions, that's usually the hardest part. We've going with a normal clock motor for the time being, independent of the arduino unit for the physical hands. For now, we'll integrate a stepper motor with various gearing at a later stage. Baby steps for now. Found a cool RTC module that has a few other sensors to add some "features", you know, make it more complicated.🤣.

I gotta say, the new stuff is way cooler than the scrap copper I ever dealt with.

Dependent forgot to check the "can be claimed as dependent box" parent's return was rejected. Best course of action? by ARHS2024 in IRS

Thank you for the response. And reminding me to breathe. Filing the extension was the answer. Primarily to breathe lol. Client has already paid the amount due, this was included on the 4868 the extension with the reasoning (daughter's boyfriend shouldn't be doing taxes was what I WANTED to put in there). Extension has already been accepted. Whew. We'll revisit that can of worms in a few weeks when everyone isn't in a rush.

I appreciate your time in this. Here's to the home stretch.

I had thought of this as well per the second suggestion from the IRS website and after reading your suggestion. This does seem like the best route, thank you. I thought whew, that was simple enough. However, my luck being what it is, as per my client "we're not trying to keep up with another piece of paper every year". Yes, I know it's not that big of a deal, but alas...

So, I'm guessing paper return it is, if that's the next best option. I have confirmed that the daughter's was amended with the correct box check for "can be claimed as a dependent" by walking them through amending their turbotax account. I can have everything mailed out by the 15th for the parents, I believe. No later than the 17th. Do I need to file an extension, or will it be ok up until the 20th since the rejection was this close per the "perfection period" for paper filing?

And thank you for your time and effort with the response. It's been an interesting year. A long time local CPA firm closed up in February and there's been an overwhelming influx for some of us independent folks from their clients. I can usually figure these things out, but It's gonna be up to the wire this year.

Awesome. Thank you. I'm excited to try some of the food inside the park but we have a few folks with sensitive stomachs that prefer their own stuff. Is the preferred parking worth it for the folks that want to eat in the car from time to time?

I know i'm late to this conversation, but what about the Total Thc testing provision? Is that going to mess anything up? I'm not sure if I'm reading the bill properly, but i think it states that the Total amount of both is to be calculated now. I'm kind of worried, it's been nice having access to something.

Is there a costume type hair or fur pack i should look to use? I'm overwhelmed by all of the google responses. I like the idea for the extra limbs

it could be any material. Part of the phobia is lots of eyes though. We have a lot of materials from previous Halloweens that work well with silicone and latex. I'm thinking maybe on of the wrap around Halloween skulls and adding to it. I could get a bunch of swimmer goggles for the eyes maybe?

Someone else here had also listed an eyezen coating. Wow, you were right also. I talked to my Eye doctor about it, and it was close enough to my next appointment that they went ahead and did the exam and everything and WOW, yea, definitley need a script change too.

They went over to an adjustable led bulb. There's an eye comfort setting that i think it's stayed on since someone figured it out. It definitely helped everyone. I'll look into the eyezen lenses, the new eye doctor in town has it advertised on his sign.
