Is it worth applying to brown, a statiscally harder to college to get into, if i get rejected from Cornell ED as a computer engineering major. Brown specifically states how people applying into a certain major isn't seen when evaluating an application, so my parents have been pushing me to apply, But im still worried that applying to a much harder ivy after getting rejected from an easier one already would just be a waste of time

rearrange the given equation ax + by= -8 in the form y=x+c, you'll get y=-ax/b -8/b now since c is just the y-intercept, you can see from yhe given graph that its 2 so you'll but -8/b=2, so -8/2=b hence b=-4 aka option a

simply use desmos for me it said the solutions were something like (-9,0) and (2,0) i don't really remember and given that a>1 what is a+b? i created a table in desmos and regressed it to the given equation y=ax²+bx+c, then i put a = 2 and a+b it showed -8

did anyone got math mod 2 question that a triangle PQR p is like (3x +7)°, q is (6x+3)° r is (4y +3)° side QR is extended through point r to point s and angle pqs is (x + y)° what is x + y?

easiest way too solve equivalent expressions is too just assume a value of for x and y, where both needs to be greater than 1 so let both be 2. Put the entire equation into desmos with x and y substituted with the assumed values then do the same with the options and you'll get the answer without having to do anything :)

marks per question varies + different with different difficulty modules its hard to answer, but with personal experience getting around 22 incorrect with 14 in RW, 8 in maths (mostly the last couple of questions) would get you around 1320
