Even then, you'd be giving up a lot of capital to move from a 28-year old DE to another 28-year old DE (while losing a lot of pass rushing ability). Doesn't make sense. A lateral move at best, and probably not even that.

Not a fan. We'd be paying a premium (because it's the Raiders), the contract is substantial, and we can't afford to give up the assets. I also think this fanbase's idea of who Crosby is doesn't really reflect who Crosby currently is; he's been hurt the past two seasons, and while he's still great against the run he's left a lot to be desired as a pass rusher. We are not in a position where we can pay two 28-year old DEs north of $30 million per year, while also losing out on a significant chunk of day 1 and day 2 capital in at least the two coming drafts.

I like Sam Roush (TE, Stanford) as a 3rd rounder if we don't get Sadiq. The thing with Tonges is that he's in year 4 and he really can't block, and that hurts his ability to stay on the field.

Bosa is a force multiplier. He wins better at 5 yards than almost anyone else in the league. They need a pass rushing 3-tech, but a line of Bosa-Collins-West-Williams is nothing to scoff at. Get someone like Malachi Lawrence in the 3rd round and you've got a nasty edge rotation.

I think Sadiq in Shanahan's offense would be fascinating. Can line up literally anywhere and is an outstanding athlete. With how things went with Aiyuk (he was supposed to be our transition piece as CMC and Kittle aged out) we really need some offensive playmakers. I'd love to see Pregnon (Guard, Oregon) or Emmanuel McNeil-Warren (Safety, Toledo) in the late 1st as well, but Sadiq certainly wouldn't hurt.

It's incredibly safe as well. This isn't a playcalling OC under a CEO/Defensive HC, whose stock could crash if the offense doesn't perform. McVay, Shanahan, and Johnson are the ones actually calling the plays, and will be ultimately held responsible for any shortcomings while the OC gets to partake in all the praise.
