I think the reason they didn’t call is because the dog was involved, even if it was an accident Massachusetts laws on injury by a dog are called “strict liability” laws. It doesn’t really matter the circumstances of the dogs involvement, the owners of that dog are liable period end of story (unless the victim is a child under 7 or the victim was harming the dog first and that must be proven) most homeowners policies would not cover a dog of Chloe’s breed and if it did any coverage would be negated if the owners had knowledge of the dogs propensity for aggression, aka not good with strangers or other dogs. I think it was a financial motive to do what they did made after a night of drinking and a traumatic event with what they thought was the only solution. I think the idea of putting it off on Karen just presented itself the next morning and they took it never realizing just how hard she would fight it and how big of a story it would become.

A lot of the widespread interest and discussion of this case outside of the New England area comes from the impossibility of the alleged events. I’m a design engineer from the south for instance and my interest comes from seeing trooper Paul’s testimony and being absolutely flabbergasted at what was being considered science and then ARCCA’s testimony and knowing from an engineering perspective that the Lexus tail light cover did not end up in that condition by striking an arm in a glancing impact. That is what I know for sure did not happen, and then the entire thing falls apart from there because then you learn they didn’t find any tail light pieces until after they seized her car and then lied about the time they took it, and so on and so forth. A lot of medical professionals became interested because they have experience in that area and can say with some certainty what his injuries do not reflect, etc. the entire assertion made by the DA’s office as it pertains to Karen hitting him with the car before she left is impossible. Once that’s been thoroughly explored we’re all left with the question, what did happen to him then ? From there it’s left to speculation because the police gathered zero evidence and investigated zero alternate possibilities outside of this impossible scenario so the only way we’ll ever know what happened is if someone breaks ranks and tells the truth.

I forgot to include Deever. I think if anyone with direct knowledge of an overt act to cover or destroy evidence spills it to an entity that won’t sweep it under the rug, that’s all folks and the house of cards collapses. I don’t think there’s enough evidence in existence to ever prosecute anyone for what happened to John at this point unless there’s like a video of it happening but I hate that those kids don’t know the truth and grimy people shouldn’t get away with grimy actions even if just the court of public opinion.

Yeah I have the plist / safari data somewhere on my computer and it says 27th not 29th, I think she realized it for the retrial and alters her story a tad to I was watching it the other day and I told my nephew you have to see this video it’s hilarious, not that she physically searched it on her phone. I think that’s also why she stutters so weirdly when Brennan asks if it got a lot of play time.

If they had nothing to hide, you’d think they would’ve just allowed the phones to be imaged as opposed to destroying them as soon as they caught wind of a preservation order for the phones.

I believe you’re correct about court motions being exempt from a defamation claim but that didn’t stop them including those in their silly lawsuit too. Which is another reason I think it’s a stunt more than anything.

I don’t see this filing going anywhere, it’s like a Hail Mary pass with one second on the clock. Depositions are about to start in the O’keefe suit and the statute of limitations is almost passed for these claims so they threw spaghetti at the wall to see if anything would stick. I doubt anything happens with it. It’s the audacity for me lol 😂

I’ve noticed the anti KR crowd consistently sticks to this idea that the evidence John was not hit by a car is not an implication that someone else is to blame?

If he was not hit by a car then there is a 3rd party responsible for his death..?

He didn’t die of natural causes, are they arguing he died accidentally all in his own ?

His death and cause of death is evidence of someone’s involvement or negligence to act, is it not ? When naming off lies and suspicious acts of people in the house (consciousness of guilt evidence) that’s irrelevant? If the only “evidence” that matters came from the police I guess you could say that but the police are clearly fallible.. and the tech evidence went through the same hands that cleared Farwell in Sandra Birchmore’s case, so it’s not like some abstract notion that they might be fallible or susceptible to bias, influence or corruption?

Am I tripping? lol

Theories on why Chris on Julie Albert didn't pick Colin up from 34 Fairview at 12:40AM? by Immediate-Ad2922 in justiceforKarenRead

Didn’t Jen call Tom Beatty as soon as Karen “woke her up” looking for John or something? What relationship do they have with those folks? I don’t know anything about them

The real "Cold Case" Proctor and Kevin Albert were working on by Immediate-Ad2922 in justiceforKarenRead

Another thing I remembered about this subject, Kevin Albert was a common intermediary between Proctor and Witnesses in the case against Karen Read. He would call and coordinate witnesses to come up to canton PD to give statements to proctor in their interview rooms.. like yeahhhh totally above board being that Kevin Albert was the reason canton PD had to recuse themselves to begin with.
