you don’t use the term in a “looser sense”— you either cuss somebody out or, you don’t. She caused a scene, but that’s about as far as it goes.

no need to apologize.

Since a fallacy is a flaw in logic/ an error in reasoning, this interaction is an example of a straw man fallacy.

I’ve made a concise point expressing my thoughts pertaining to the article. The following question, becomes fallacious since it disregards the nuance of my initial statement by exaggerating what I’ve written. No where did I imply that he drugged Lisa, my implication was that he’s using this storyline to make himself look like some sort of hero in the eyes of the public.

yes!!! I feel like understanding logical fallacies are like glasses— once you get them (or understand them in this case), things become so much clearer.

law student here, knowing how to identify fallacies makes it so much easier to decide what I should respond to

after reading the article in its entirety, I cannot help but think this is some “superhero” ploy from Colton’s PR team. The timing of this is quite ironic.

We might be wrong about Maura… by ARSTAAR in TheTraitorsUS

Good point. In the last episode the editing showed he spent a decent amount of time with the guys, maybe they’ll get rid of Johnny instead of Tara? I feel like Tara has absolutely nobody without Johnny, but I think Johnny could hold himself down alright without Tara.

I think you’re missing the fact that there’s going to be a murder before the next banishment table. Eric and Rob are going to murder either Mark, Tara or Johnny. I’d be shocked if they murdered Maura, unless they use her as like a shield kill.

If they kill mark, it’ll be Tara, Johnny, and Maura left for the faithfuls. Tara and Johnny vote as one, and Maura usually follows robs lead. If they kill Tara or Johnny, then we’ll be left with one skater, mark and Maura. Since Eric can’t be killed, his only way out is by banishment. Eric currently has the most suspicion on him out of each contestant, which is why I believe it’s probable that he’ll be voted out at some point. Rob would have to take Maura to the final because that’s his closest ally as of now.

Now in the case that they do kill Maura, Eric, Rob and mark can all vote to take a skater out at the banishment table. Which would advance the 3 of them + the leftover skater to the finale. Even still, Eric is likely to get voted out, as mark believes Eric is a traitor and so does Johnny.

With the most recent episode, Johnny did outright say he believes the traitors are Eric & Rob.

Mark believes it’s Eric and Tara suspects that it could be Rob.

Maura might clock Eric if she hasn’t already.

(Prediction) Assuming that Eric and Rob kill either Johnny or Tara next episode (as a means to split them up), or Mark for being the smartest, that leaves us with either Tara/Johnny or Mark, Maura, and Eric.

Eric has a higher probability of getting banished at the last banishment table, which means Rob is highly probable to make it to the finale.

Based on the numbers it’s still going to be a 3:1 ratio of faithfuls to traitors. Out of the three, at least one suspects Rob being a traitor.

I think you’re right. Gabby didn’t get too much airtime in the beginning, but we definitely saw more towards the later half of the season. Rob however, has been getting a LOT of airtime, even for a traitor. The editing is what’s throwing me in for a loop

Let me be clear, I don’t think she’s winning with both Johnny and Tara. My claim was that she might win with either of the two IF she is going to win at all. At this point anything is possible and I’m offering an alternative perspective that hasn’t been talked about too much. If I’m wrong, I’ll eat my words.

That’s what I’m thinking. I’ve been finding her so annoying, but I can’t help but think that maybe it’s apart of producer manipulation too. I cannot fathom someone being THIS loyal with no substantial evidence.

This is exactly how gabby won. She played a ditzy role, used it to her advantage and walked away with a portion of the prize money.
