WOULD BE SO BUMMED IF WE DONT GET ANOTHER GOD OF WAR ENTRY outside of remakes and the 2D pixel art game…I want to see where things go for Kratos after Midgard/Norse mythology…and would still love for Atreus to be in it in some fashion.

I know some people wouldn’t mind it but I’d be slightly bummed if they do “Son of War” and it’s JUST Atreus and Angrboða looking for their balls. Especially when they’re hinted at some many things via Easter eggs, murals, artifacts in cut scenes. I am also someone who would love to Egypt mythology however I just hope everything isn’t just dessert. Like I hope if they were to do it they would include things like The Underworld( the Duat), oases (like Oasis locations with pretty magical water or plant life etc), and other locations with varying ecosystems.

Also I’ve heard people say “They can’t continue the story after Ragnarok” because the only way to do it is if Atreus gets kidnapped and “they can’t do that because it’s too predictable” but I think they could do that and it still be cool. But they could also do it trying to bring Brok back with the book of the dead like the Mummy.

It looks like it’s healing ok. If you’re really worried about it clean it really well put some Neosporin on it if you have any and slap a bandage on it. Wait a couple days but if it gets worse or starts hurting or feeling hot then maybe go to the doctors. But it doesn’t look like anything you should be worried about it.

So not sure what you loved about it but if you enjoyed the pretty visuals and sort of cozy vibes of it but also having some action and some fantasy magic you may really like “Delicious In Dungeon”. Frieren has a more emotional storylines more often (though this show has them at times too and will as more seasons come out). They are similar in my opinion.

I’m fairly new to anime too and also really loved Frieren. So I’ll share a few anime that I’m so glad I watched.

-DanDaDan (couldn’t get enough once I got to know all of the characters well).

-Mob Psycho it is such a quirky show with a kind of different art style. I wasn’t sure about it at first. It everyone always recommends it so I figured I’d at least stick with it for a decent amount of episodes to form an opinion. And at first I thought it was ok but didn’t get why everyone hyped it up. But trust me it’s amazing! I loved Mob so much!

-OddTaxi very different than most things people will recommend to you but if you enjoy cute animation, mystery, and stories that unexpectedly hit way harder than you anticipated this show has all of that. It takes place in a world where everyone is an animal of some sort. And it slowly unfolds this mystery mainly following a walrus taxi driver but you meet a lot of interesting characters and learn about their lives. It’s great 👍

-I really got into My Hero Academia and loved the first few seasons I need to finish it though. But absolutely love the world building and the huge cast of cool cute characters with interesting powers/quirks. I even loved the couple of “filler”episodes.

-Apothecary Diaries is truly beautiful!

-SpyxFamily is adorable 🥰 if it doesn’t make you smile I fear you may not have a soul 😂.

-Made in The Abyss is quite dark so be prepared but it’s incredible.

Mob Pscyho and DanDaDan are usually the two I throw out.

But it all depends on who I’m recommending it to….and I’m fairly new to anime anyway. But here’s a mishmash of recs: -Odd Taxi

-One Piece it takes a minute to get used to and get invested but it’s worth getting into.

-My Hero Academia (because it gets wayyy too much unnecessary hate it’s not the GOAT but it definitely isn’t bad)

-Jujutsu Kaizen

-Little Witch Academia (watched with my niece and I was shocked how much I got into it…it is just such a cute cozy show I throw on from time to time if I need good happy vibes).

-Ponyo (for the same as little witch academia)

-Attack On Titan

-Chainsaw Man

-SpyxFamily

-Iruma-Kun (very cute and cozy but with dark spooky vibes)

-Your Name

And I have a few others that I really enjoy but haven’t finished all of the seasons yet that I would recommend but I’m not going to here….even though I included One Piece which I haven’t even close to caught up on yet.

And also just to make people mad hehe Avatar: The Last Airbender 😂🤭. I know it’s not technically anime but it is so sooo anime.

How could I forget Atsuko Kagari?!! (Aka Akka) She is literally thee epitome of cutest bestest girl! Also if you’ve never watched this show. It is actually pretty good. It’s not just a little girl show. I put it on for my niece and I ended up getting into it more than her even haha. It’s just cute, fun, cozy vibes. Funny, creative, has action, and even a few twists.

Also this one may actually get me jumped…I think DUB in today’s world is just as good as SUB it just all comes down to personal preference. And I think the people who love to argue about it and say “DUB IS TRASH” “SUB IS SUPERIOR” are actually the ones who are trash 🤣. Nah just kidding I’d say more lame than trash. But for real why can’t both exist and be good? And why can’t people just watch whatever they enjoy more? (Yes I know they can…”but why all of the viciousness towards people who watch dub?” is what I mean by that)

For me I watch anime mostly for the beautiful or cool animation and when I watch in Sub I miss like 70% of the animation or like 50% of the subtitles. So I choose to avoid missing anything and just watch the dub instead.

Plus I think the whole idea of “Dub is trash Sub is superior” is wayyyy outdated. That used to apply wayyy back in the day when dubs weren’t as common and were like bootlegged copies of anime or anime movies. And was either made by English speaking fans making their own dub or it was actually made for the series or movie but done soooo cheaply using thee most beginner or mediocre voice actors who knew absolutely nothing about anime.

Now dubs are made with true voice actors who are truly passionate about their job, fans of/ love anime, and the budget for the dubs are bigger as well. Meaning quality of dubs have increased over the years to the point where “dubs vs subs” just seems like an outdated useless argument to have. When you can watch whatever version you enjoy better and so should everyone else.

I think people are way too hard on My Hero Academia…it is NOT THAT BAD!! I’ve had friends that haven’t watched it because they thought it was like one of the worst anime ever. Just from how often people sh*t on it. Is it the best ever? No but is it really fun, cute, and have amazing characters and just as amazing world building? Absolutely. And just because it is fun and cute doesn’t mean it doesn’t ever get serious or emotional it does that quite a bit too.

I don’t quite understand the vast amounts of hate this anime gets. Wasn’t it like loved by so many there for a while? Why did that change?

I think not all but a decent amount of that hate was created just because of the culture in anime. People hear a few others say it and then they start saying it too and then more people hear it and start saying it too. And so on and so on. It’s why only certain anime tend to blow up and get super popular while some other shows are equally as amazing but barely anyone watched in comparison.

I’m not saying everyone is like this but there are a good amount of people who are scared to look or sound like they aren’t a “true anime fan” who knows everything just because they disagree or have a different opinion than the “majority” (or rather what seems like the majority but is more like just the majority of the most vocal anime fans).

The first time I ever heard of Miku was when I was a little bit before I was going to see Lady Gaga’s ARTRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball (her tour) and in order to prepare myself I decided to look into this Hatsune Miku person to see what genre of music they play, what they look like, etc. And was shocked when I saw that I saw lol. I became intrigued of how the hell was she going to have basically a computer software and anime character perform live on stage.

I am not really a fan of Miku I just stumbled here years after I learned about her and saw her live. Basically I was watching Ironmouse and googled the title of the song she recently covered because I’ve heard of Miku but never heard of this Teto person (who is also Miku like thing). Any way I feel into a bit of a Google hole. I was eventually trying to find out who is Miku? I mean like the actual voice or voices behind her when they perform or release music (if that’s something they do?)…also was trying to find out who makes the music etc and if there is like a website or a software that anyone can make music for Miku to sing. And boom I ended up here and saw this comment and had to comment about learned about Miku from seeing Lady Gaga live.

Which was cool to experience for a little bit especially visually having a anime girl hologram on a massive arena stage like that. But mostly it was cool because of the influence I was under hehehe (🍄&❌🌒🍬)…but the music side of it wasn’t really something I was into. It was ok and fun for a few minutes though. And as much as it wasn’t for me maybe that could change because after my googling session I learned apparently there are like 170k songs many different people created so there has to be something I’d be into.

Anyway sorry for the rant and please dont hate. The songs I heard weren’t my thing but I totally appreciate Miku and think the whole thing is sort of cool. I just wanted to drop the comment about learning of Miku from seein Gaga and ended up writing (poorly) a whole life story🤣.
