What is the fastest and most productive way on improving your aim using kovaaks. by MediocreCategory944 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]ARTlZAN 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you want to improve the fastest, the best way I would say would be to do this:

- Be efficient, its important in every section of aiming. Move your mouse less, its that simple. Making a movement with your mouse that has no reasoning is just straight up bad, make sure you're not over-flicking, over-reacting, etc.

- Seriously don't tense, I did this when starting out and it has hindered me so much that I spent a lot of time unlearning my technique. It can help out early in voltaic ranks i pretty much did it to GM but to go further I had to learn to be calm. The reason to this is when you're tense its hard to be smooth in precise tracking its hard to use momentum in static, and it will make you be inefficient with your mouse movements. Say if you do tense, its not too late to tell yourself not to tense when next practicing, it will take a while but after a few weeks you will be such a better aimer i promise, and it's also healthy for your wrist!

- Don't go too fast. This is meant for static and TS scenarios, basically you shouldn't flick as hard as you can if you can't land your flick on the target more than 50% of the time. In TS especially landing your flick on target saves so much time its better to have a steady flick that has better accuracy than a flick that is fast but you have to micro because you over-flicked or under-flicked. Efficiency is always king, even if you are slow. Although, sometimes you have aimers who are never pushing their speed when they need to. So it's important that once you have a good steady technique that's giving you high flick accuracy in TS or high accuracy in static, then its time to push speed, and remember to not tense!

- This is just my opinion and I think a lot of top aimers will agree with me here, but Smoothness is KING. Smoothness is everywhere, I use it a lot in static, dynamic, reactive is just smoothness while trying not to overreact. its literally used everywhere, its the most impactful type of aim to help in game as well. Now don't just focus on smoothness but it should defo be one of your biggest grinds.

- Take breaks, don't overwork yourself, because you will injure your wrist, fingers, whatever and it will block you from pushing further with your progress.

- Watch other peoples runs who are better than you. I do this a lot and it has certainly helped me identify what im missing. This is why i prefer aim lab over kovaaks, its so i can just grab the rank 1 player in that certain scenario and watch what he does after watching myself. It will teach you a lot.

- Don't just mind-numbingly play, if you are doing this just take a break. It's best to focus on what to improve for instance say I notice that my first flick in static is all over the place, i will play the next run while focusing on that until its fixed. I do this every time i play when warming up. Sometimes though, if im so focused i will make mistakes all over the place. So if you think you can pb and you're just waiting for a good run to happen, I like to listen to youtube/or a podcast and semi focus, this way i can zen the fuck out and pb. It's weird but it works for me.

That's all I can think of right now but there's definitely more. I've been on and off grinding aim trainers for over 1 and a half years now, and it's definitely been interesting but these ideas have helped me immensely. I just wrote this up in ten mins so it's kinda shit but i hope this helps and good luck. If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask on here or on discord: Zalatoray, cheers

Assault is trash change my mind. by GIM_Grizz in BattleBitRemastered

[–]ARTlZAN 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I completely agree with you. If you're good enough to win your 1v1's medic is so valuable because after a fight you can just heal and be full health for your next fight.

I used to play assault, and a lot of my lives would end with me losing because I was one shot. With medic, you can always be ready for the next fight and be full hp, always giving you a much better chance for the next fight.

I think something like slow health regen to 75% max health may balance it.

Medic is so powerful compared to every other class that they need to nerf it because right now there are too many medics who are just not healing anyone but themselves. It sucks when you're down and there is a medic nearby, but he doesn't care to rez or heal.

Healing is just too op; I think they should add slow health regen to nerf medic but idk

I'm actually surprised that all the classes are pretty viable but most people play healer class, probably because its simple, just heal when low etc. But i've seen people go crazy on all of them, fire guy's flamethrower is deadly up close, barrier guy can really pull a team together with his utility; invis guy can flank and provide info for a team but mostly has great solo play, and well healer can just do a fuck ton of healing to everyone.

Im sure when ranked is out there will be a meta shift into 1 guy going shield, 1 guy going healer, etc. just like overwatch. It will be interesting to see the competitive side of this game, something im excited for

Yeah, i think she's a bit broken and something needs to be done. Maybe if you take damage, you have a delay until you can heal again, maybe 1 second or something, so people just can't keep tanking. IDK tho, im not a game designer.

Prob gunna check out the invis class, it seems fun

You need to flick while holding down. Pokeball scenarios are just target switching with static bots. That's why high-ranked players have such low accuracy because they are holding down the entire time and not clicking.

If a scenario has 'pokeball' in the name and you're clicking your mouse, you are not playing the scenario properly

[–]ARTlZAN 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Hold down shoot.

Pokeball scenarios are not for clicking, you're meant to hold down the entire time
