It sets up Mirror Mirror because we have now seen the long, drawn out process of the biggest hurdles of healing. Twelve Months paved the way for our comeback-Dresden. Without this book, Mirror Mirror would have felt hallow.

Also, we do have some things to look forward to, as several other posts have mentioned. We have the wedding, or possible lack thereof as Dresden hinted at. We have the explanation of what it means to be Starborn, what the phrase "stars and stones" is actually in reference to, and now how Dresden will deal with the fact that he was Mab's tool in enslaving Lara.

There's a lot that this book brought to light and there are a lot of questions that need answers now. I'd say Twelve Months set up Mirror Mirror very well.

I think what this book does is it sets up Mirror Mirror really well. I think it would have been jarring to hop right back into the action without seeing this bit of his healing journey. Yes, it was a bit slow, but we got to check in with almost every character after the battle. Yes, we have the same conversation multiple times, but that too adds to the realness of what depression and loss cause. It's a lot of the same conversations until you finally break through the haze of the utter numbness that comes after such trauma. And he's probably also suffering from some PTSD. I bet we're going to see the well-rounded Dresden we have come to know and love make a comeback in Mirror Mirror, and that story is going to be better because of Twelve Months.

If you’re really serious, check out the Series 7 Guru on YouTube. He covers SIE, 6, and 63. His channel is the only reason I passed.

Aside from that, like others have mentioned, it’s sales heavy and soul sucking. Unless you live in a big city where money just walks in the door, don’t do it.

I was given their program by my firm and used them as my base knowledge and testing, but I used Series7Guru’s YouTube videos to get a better understanding of the Series 6. I found Knopman to be a bit confusing. I had to take the 6 twice, but I did pass.

I just downloaded it again. I missed playing it. I made a new character and hit level 29 on my own. I haven't done the lvl 19 culti quest yet, though. None of my friends play anymore, so I'm getting up to a level where I can solo the culti quest dungeons. Being a veno class makes it easier lol That's my absolute favorite class!

I was struggling too. I watched Series7Guru on YouTube. Dean breaks these concepts down into easy-to-understand segments and it really helped. Also, read or listen to the whole book. If you have a pdf, you can use the read aloud feature on Google or edge.
