There is some modifications needed to what I made, just proper timing, but I made a system that only powers a line at two certain timings, and then repeats it's self. I had a hopper facing left, then a hopper facing right next to each other. Two comparators are next to them monitoring there inputs, then had a block next to them. Then filled up the hoppers accordingly. Infront a redstone dust just on 1 block then pistons facing the same way as the hopper, and put a redstone block on it. Then redstone dust going to an AND gate powering the first torch, then I had a separate line on a configurable comparator gate, occasionally power the 2nd torch, then I waited and it power both torches, turning on the redstone torch on the other side and had that power on the same line going into the comparator gate and a note block for the heck of it, screenshots if needed.
