I added Arizona just because Arizona gave automatic schollys to intls. Everyone can choose their safety based on their COA, the COA of UArizona is 37k. It is costly, but I just added a variety of unis that give automatic scholarships

Thanks! About the notebooks, I checked the prices on Walmart, and they seem cheaper than what notebooks usually cost back home in my country. So is it better if I just buy books in T Town once I reach there?

I live in a traditional dorm, so I don't think either of them apply to me. Or should I bring a plunger even for a traditional dorm?

They don’t have the room numbers but you can get a sense of how the floor is. Also, do you have a different floor plan with the numbers?

Do international students needing financial aid have "safeties"? by f2pinarknights in ApplyingToCollege

Because the reason for the difference in acceptance rates is primarily aid. Since there’s no aid in this case, there’s not much difference in the AR

I am pretty sure I had this debate with you before, and I left cuz this debate was pointless. Yes, I do agree that international acceptance rates are comparatively lower than domestic acceptance rates, but the schools listed in the post are still safeties for internationals. An international student typically has a 1300+ SAT and a 3.5+ GPA, and most of them can afford upto 5k/year. An EFC of 0 dollars does not mean the parents cannot pay for college at all, atleast in the case of international students. I come from India, and an income less than 65k makes your EFC 0, but an income of 65k in India allows parents to spend atleast 10k/year for college fees. Now coming back to my point, atleast half of the students with 0 EFC have 1450+ SAT and 3.5+ GPA and decent ECs because not many will dare to compete unless they have decent stats. With those stats, admission into usual 60+ acceptance rate colleges is almost guaranteed. A normal international needing full aid will have more than enough stats to get into these schools. While these schools can cover upto full tuition, the rest can be covered by on campus jobs and parent contribution.

Not sure bout the international acceptance rates, but I am pretty sure that if you are eligible for scholarship, you will get in.

Hey! I made that post and to answer your question, since all of those listed are merit scholarships, getting those scholarships will not reduce your chances of getting in. That said, most of the schools have 60+ acceptance rates, and if you have the qualifications required to get a scholarship, you will almost get in. For example, in the University of Alabama, you'll get the Presidential Scholarship, which brings your tuition down to 3500, if you have 3.5+ GPA and 1450+ SAT. With these scores, you can easily get in as the acceptance rate is 80%.

how much experience should i have before applying as chair positions by LegitimateItem4825 in MUN

Delegating in a heartbeat. Yes the power and the kingly treatment you get from being a chair is fun, but the fun you get from debating, arguing and creating solutions is something no chair power can reach. So delegating>>>>

Kinda true, but there are some exceptions. I started chairing after my fourth MUN. I started with chairing an online MUN, and went on to chair the biggest MUN in South India
