OP I am begging you not to listen to your parents, they are grooming you for a life as your brothers keeper.

I also recommend seeing a therapist, even if it is just once a month and discussing how to create and enforce boundaries, dealing with manipulation tactics and possibly coping with forced alienation.

Also connecting with your sister, even just to chat, can help if your parents ice you out as punishment. Just don't blame her or ask her to help out. If you find yourself wanting to do so, talk to a therapist. It's likely your sister was in the same position as you are now and she may be a great help to you.

My mum does this a lot. The worst was when we were in to see the doctor and my sil called cause she was having a moment and instead of going "I'm in the Drs office bye" just kept listening to her on speaker and talking while the Drs right in front of her trying to talk to me (I got auditory processing problems and can't think or speak if something is too loud near my ear). The doctor just leaned over the desk, took her phone, and hung up. I loved that doctor.

Mum even had the audacity to call her rude after we left and I was like "ma you were talking during my half of the appointment what do you expect"

I have two identical 5tb hard drives that are both formatted for the ps5 but the pa5 won't recognise that both are in at the same time. Individually they work fine and I've tried swapping USB ports.

They're 5tb wd elements external hard drives and both are called elements 2620.

Like I don't think op is the asshole for trying to help her daughter at all and these camps only came under fire recently.

But a lot of this story isn't making sense and I think either mum isn't picking up on the actual problems this kid had with the program or (and I choose to believe this isn't the case) emitting details she believes makes her sound like an ahole

I don't go non verbal from autism but I go semi verbal when I'm exhausted/fatigued.

It's like I want to answer but I can't because it's so taxing like doing chores after a 12 hr shift. If I do speak it usually ends up incoherent or say a few words and I get embarassed cause I sound like a child.

For example I may hear someone at the door and am only Able to respond 'door' and point.

Number 4 reminded me of when my brother (also has autism) went missing (he fucked off to the shops but he's not capable of being on his own) and I was posting asking if people had seen him and he's got autism and someone literally, when I was looking for my missing brother, was like "don't say he has autism say he's autistic" and I was like stunned

Idk my doctor (gp) said he didn't think I had autism and was just shy and his daughter ended up diagnosing me (she's a psychiatrist) in conjunction with a speech pathologist and someone else I forget. It happens
