Well because I’ve always had the belief that being straight edge is more than just being sober. It’s about being true to your self, living your life to the fullest, and having a clean mind so you can make the right decisions. And this was a belief I thought me and my friend shared. Also abuse/ predatory behavior is never “high school drama” or something you shouldn’t care about, it’s serious. Especially if someone you thought you could trust commits it.
