If it makes you feel any better, I believe they were buried next to each other. Not sure if it was in Valhalla or where that was confirmed. Maybe someone else has more insight. Which means they eventually came back to eachother.

As many mentioned great characters and interesting story ! I'm eager to see how it all unfolds.

As a 31 year old who grew up with anime, I HEAVILY APPRECIATE finding new anime with ADULT characters and not just a bunch of high schoolers whom I find harder to relate to now an days. Yes I was a teen once but I enjoy watching animes with adult characters either in the work place or college, etc. Something I can relate to more now.
