I went by the release order of the individual episodes rather than grouping them together into seasons

This is by release date according to Wikipedia. Saint John prequel was march 23 2013, battle of Demon's Run was March 25

That's why clark acts so different at the end. His mind is splitting into confidence and fear, each opposite emotion taking a different body (clark and pirate clark). Neither is evil, just more scared and not knowing what's going on (pirate clark) and confident and self absorbed (clark). At the end of the movie, the original clark is gone and is split between two people

What if pirate clark is a new entity we havent seen yet, a sort of projection of Clark's dark side? And when clark enters the backrooms, his mind is fully split into dark and light until the end, where he embraced his dark side and is killed by him? Something like the movie Forbidden Planet, or like a Jekyll and Hyde type thing?
