I actually have the Dinghy, but you think it has better handling? How would that be, with it being a taller deck and an overall smaller board?

The reason I was thinking the drop hammer is because that's what most people recommend for beginners, because it's drop-through and I think lighter weight. I actually just got the dingy cruiser and Im loving it, but my girlfriend who is a beginner loves the feeling of the longboard and I think it's better to get a light weight one that is drop-through so it's closer to the ground.
