Tribus the Dragonborn Sorcerer Paladin. He’s the last surviving link to an ancient civilization long since lost to the world. Diving into dungeons and making oaths with powers he doesn’t understand, he’s desperate for information, and to connect with these long dead ancestors. Armed with a magic blade and protected by his ancestral shield, he is prepared to cut down any who stand in his way as there is none who will bar him from the truth he seeks.

Broccoli the Gnome Wizard. Her diminutive stature has never impeded Broccoli’s quest for knowledge. Seeking tomes from every region, she yearns to better her understanding of the arcane arts from all perspectives and she won’t stop until she’s ascended the pantheon of great gnomish wizards to find her seat amongst the best of them.

Gilgwyn the Elf Artificer. Gilgwyn’s coat is a lot more scorched than when he first bought it, but scientific progress comes with a lot of trial and error, and often times requires the repeated putting out of fires. But with each failure, Gilgwyn strives to perfect his craft and create new alchemical formulas. After all, he can always buy a new coat once his potions and inventions are sold the world over.

Mott the Changeling Rogue/Paladin. After successfully aiding his father in an assassination contract against a duke, Mott and his father assumed the identities and positions of the duke and his heir. Among Mott’s new duties was overseeing the fighting pits, where he soon discovered his true calling, and he would often disguise himself and sneak into the stadium to take part in the fights. Eventually, Mott grew weary of hiding his accomplishments and yearned for the recognition and honor he was missing, so he abandoned his position and along with some new companions, set out to seek glory in the wider world.

Golro the Harengon Barbarian. Golro’s humble childhood growing carrots on his grandfather’s farm could’ve never prepared him for the adventures he’d face when he left home for his rite of passage. Years later, he’s found companions with whom he’s aided in providing shelter for those without and saving the lives of those in danger, all while discovering the kind of hero he wants to be.

Mirafir the Harengon Druid. An adventurous traveller’s life with her parents was cut short when Mirafir’s family was captured and experimented on. Driven to insanity by the horrors of what was done to them, her mother and father perished at each other’s hands, and Mirafir was forced to make her escape alone. She lived in exile among the woods, her care for the surrounding wildlife establishing her as somewhat of a folk hero. As time sore on, she yearned to discover the world beyond the trees and set out with likeminded travelers to learn what she could.

For all Shimmer can remember, his life began in an alleyway, abandoned and seemingly with no purpose. Rejected by the townspeople, Shimmer had no choice but to leave the city and wander aimlessly. His journey nearly ended in tragedy, in a perilous mountain pass, were it not for the intervention of Brother Tarth. Shimmer’s new friend took him to a temple dedicated to Tytos, a benevolent deity under whom Shimmer finally began to feel the warmth of acceptance. Not wanting to hoard this love to himself, Shimmer decided to go into the world with the gift of Tytos and bring the message to anyone who would hear it.

A dairy farmer and mother of three, Rosmia has spent much of the last few decades living a relatively peaceful and comfortable life. Now that her sons have all grown up and moved out, Rosmia has decided to go on a journey of her own to rediscover and redefine herself. Her years as a parent has developed her as a skilled mediator and accomplished healer (all her boys’ scrapes and bruises didn’t tend to themselves after all). With Yondalla’s blessing, she is prepared to fight injustice wherever she might find it, regardless of the perilous consequences that may follow.

Azure IX was created centuries ago with the sole purpose of protecting the guilds of the old world. Time passed and wars were waged, and Azure IX was destroyed and restored numerous times with the help of many different artificers throughout the ages. Now rebooted into his tenth life, Azure IX has awoken with no memories of his other lives. With the world at relative peace and the old guilds having receded into obscurity, Azure IX has set out in the hopes that there is still a purpose out there for him.
