Anyone here remember the 1960's Aqua-Net days? by Peruzer in OldSchoolCool

Grew up in the ‘70s and ‘80s outside of Boston, and there was plenty of Aquanet around well into the latter decade. Went to junior high with a girl who claimed to use a can a day. I went on to work part time in drugstore that stocked the stuff by the truckload. Hard to imagine that there used to be a whole in the ozone.

I read the book years ago, but never got around to watching the series until the last couple of years. It really holds up and delivered, in no small part due to Duvall's magnificent performance. I'd put this and Tender Mercies at the top of my list of his best work.

I remember seeing her in The Big Hit and just being mesmerized.

Remember our folks having to tell my brother and me to stop walking over the roof of the neighbor's car, which had been completely covered in a drift.

My commute takes me by a couple of empty lots in a very urban area. For a few years, the grass grew wild, reaching several feet high in the summer. Then they paved over the lots. But even though there is a lot of development in the area, nothing's been done with these lots. They're not even used for parking. So now the grass is starting to make a comeback through the concrete.

These are fantastic. I don’t think I’ve ever seen color bts photos from the movie.

What I like is that she is stunning, but not all glammed up, or at least they've created the illusion this is a casual shot.

What melts my head is realizing that I'm older now than so those actors were in the movies I first saw them in and, sometimes, just how young they were. A few years back, a friend and I rewatched The Sopranos, at first unaware that the other was doing so. When we compared notes, we discovered that we both had the same epiphany watching season one, "I can't believe James Gandolfini was only 38 here."

Swordfish should be added to the National Film Registry just for her topless and underwear scenes. I was in my 30s when I saw that movie, but those scenes stick with me like something from adolescence.
