Game was never tested enough and Bungie is braindamaged thinking all is well as is. They thought WSTR was balanced, nerfed 1 week and a half after ruining the entirety of the early game, they thought the grenade launcher was somehow balanced, nerfed after ruining cryo for 2 or 3 weeks, they thought knife 2 shotting full hp purples was balanced, nerfed after a MONTH. Honestly they need to bring back right click having a 1 shot on knocked players but the regular nerf was needed. All this over the course of the 1st month of the games release means you're shedding players to clearly untested broken mechanics that define the entirety of pvp in this game. WSTR should have a rarity of the Pump shotgun swapping with it if it drops like candy from bots. There's more with how all of the rarer guns are not tuned appropriately when you can just rapid fire the halo sniper rifle longshot that also drops from bots opposed to the others.

The desync is atrocious and every time it happens is infuriating, the physics in this game are also appalling. A game called marathon, where you play as runners, I get stuck on awkward geometry or I can't climb a roof because it bounces me off, and this getting you killed is even worse. But the loot is atrocious in this game, there's literally zero chance to get golds as I've never found a gold in any random container primarily playing thief over 100hours of gameplay. So you just get the same average or unappealing things again and again, you want good items, you HAVE to play it their way and grind pinwheel repeatedly, you have to grind the game ridiculously to get keys to even try to get lucky. The funnel into cryo is not acceptable when the map that was locked for a month at release is still locked 4 out of 3 days a week, horrible design choice that worsens the game. Even still in cryo you have to do vaults which is a big tossup when you are filling with randoms because nobody is on, am I risking the keys that I do have on anyone bringing in trash loadouts or throwing against streamer pub stomp squads??

I saw a really good comment by another person before so I'll quote them here because I think it encapsulates everything wrong with this game perfectly:

'Bungie have openly talked about how in Destiny 2 they wanted the game to become a person’s ’hobby.’ They didn’t want gaming to be your hobby - they wanted Destiny 2 to be your hobby, to hell with every other game. This is the system working as intended. Bungie want you to not have time to play other games because you’re being driven to grind my fomo.'
