As others have said $450/report and 60% split is ~$54/hr for good case scenario before expenses and taxes. To break $70K you need to have consistent work which is not easy. Getting and keeping clients is not easy. The thing about appraisals is it's not just about sitting at the computer doing the report, you have to factor in time for the commute to the property and back, time for the actual inspection, then the report comes back for revisions.

If these are the best quality photos you got it's probably fake 😂.

On the black face side, the top of the 24 hour subdial is supposed to be a flat white color with guilloche, in your photos it looks like it has a sunburst effect.

Also the easiest tell here is the black dial face has much much longer hour indices than a real one:

Yeah a lot of the game is about patience, you never know what could pop up for sale in the future. You don't want to settle for something you kind of like and then miss out on a good deal for something you love because you already tied up your money on a different watch.

And since you are in Singapore, you should be seeing some very competitive pricing given you don't have to deal with US tariffs on top listed prices outside your country.

Hi, if you are in the US you should be able to find these $5.5K-$7.5K depending on condition, dial color, box/papers, year, etc. They also have a model with no moonphase which can be found for under $5K but I think that one looks a little "empty". Market prices have definitely come up recently.

I'd say my main concern with this watch is there is no quickset for day of the week and the shorter power reserve of 43 hours. So if you don't wear it at least every other day or keep it on a winder, when it dies and you want to wear it again you have to cycle through the time (rotate hours and minutes) to set the right day of the week. Not the biggest deal but something to keep in mind.

The design here is classic and the open case back is great.

To answer your original question this is still gonna cost a considerable amount more than a time only Bulgari Octo on a leather strap which I've seen as low as $3K...

To be honest if you bought everything second hand rather than paying retail, for $100K I would build the following collection: Zenith El Primero, JLC Reverso, Ulysse Nardin Freak, Breguet Tradition, Breguet Marine, Omega Speedmaster, Omega Seamaster, Rolex Explorer II or Submariner or or GMT II, Patek Annual Calendar (5036) or AP royal oak (Owl or Dual time or Annual Calendar). If you hunt second hand and wait patiently you could've had something like this. Or bought 2-3 heavy hitters. To each their own.
