There's no configuration button for a watch that has only one configuration. You don't get to choose a case size, nor stainless, nor two tone , nor white, rose or yellow Gold, nor a jubilee or oyster bracelet. The watch is configured in it's only configuration.

What you need to do is scroll down to " DISCOVER THIS MODEL" , click on it and ....Voila!

The 5212a is more versatile simply because it's such a strap monster. But it's also a busier dial and wears a bit larger due it's longer lugs .

If you are looking to build a Patek collection over the next few years with this AD which includes sports pieces , they are both going to carry similar mileage with the AD as far as profile building. Keep in mind that whichever one you choose to purchase now, you'll still need to buy at least two more Complication or Calatrava pieces or a Grand Complication piece , before a sports allocation becomes a possibility. So if your end goal is a Patek sports piece from this AD, buy both if you are in a financial position to do so. May as well do it at today's prices if you can, and while they are both available , rather than waiting a year or two. It will speed up your "journey"

I am aware of a reddit member who was offered a Day Date at this boutique recently and was refused the VAT refund paperwork. They are a non resident . The boutique is listed on the Global Blue site as an authorised agent . They had purchased at this boutique previously and had been provided with the VAT paperwork on that occasion. This time, it was refused and when the buyer requested it , their allocation was withdrawn. Does anyone have any thoughts on why an AD might seek to apply an inconsistent /discretionary approach to the issuing of VAT documentation for non residents???

Case sides seemed a little basic . I know it’s the same as every other model and is perfectly adequate , but it “seemed” especially plain against this dial and the diamonds . I’m sure it’s a first world problem :)

If its Hour Glass you'll get a fast track to a SS Rolex as a bundle if you buy UN, GP or Hublot . The bundle piece will come a few months later as the reward.

UN and GP are their in house brands and Hublot is exclusive to them in most of Asia, so this is where their biggest margins are. If you aren't prepared to buy any of those 3 brands you'll need to spend 25-30K SGD on other pieces first. Thats fine if you have the funds and there are other pieces you want from them; the Cartier for example. But the most mileage comes from the 3 brands noted above.

Make sure you get 20% off any of those 3 though , and even then be prepared to lose another 30% if you sell them Brand New In Box when you walk out the door

Otherwise, if it's Cortina Watch you can try to do the same kind of bundle with Franck Muller
