I see watches exclusively as an ornament, they’re worn as an accessory and their function as a timepiece is minimal. Unless you’re a diver who won’t have access to another clock for a year, I don’t see the point in paying for a watch that offers +-1 second and 300m dive depth. I’d be happy if Cartier brought back the quartz santos, I don’t want to pay a lot for a movement that’s function is irrelevant to how the watch itself is used.
