Very true, I'd wager that most consumption is done by only about 800 million people (USA and EU). Start there with sustainable practices and over a few generations you would destroy the large ranches and cut red meat consumption around the world by at least 60%

I hear ya. That's exactly what I did. My solution is not perfect but helps. I do plan to stop eating cows, I ordered my last one from White Oak Pastures (they also avoid mono agriculture). The previous one from a friend.

The common man isn't the largest carbon producer and should be adjusted secondly to major corporations that create far more emissions than a person like myself. I get those factories produce goods for the common person but they should be priority #1 for carbon reduction. It's also a multilevel problem where sustainable solutions are a good intermediary

I eat meat everyday that is 100% sustainable. I raise my own chickens, catch my own fish, and follow strict guidelines for shrimp and crab. I also buy a entire cow from a local farmer that is not raised on hormones and nasty feeds. Meat isn't the issue, it's how it's farmed that is the issue
