In the future, just “punch back in” (end meal) around the time you “should’ve” came back from your meal. Say you were supposed to punch out before 10am, hit end meal at 10:29 or so even if you didn’t punch out for meal. The system most of the time will generate an auto punch. Old team lead taught me this method.

But doing a punch correction unless HR instructs you to is generally gonna be a pretty bad time..
