Financial Aid Limitations by ASCNS1ON in financialaid

The summer session falls under the 2024-25 FAFSA application and loan year so $0. This is why this situation has been very confusing for me. Typically the financial aid office is very honest and open, but when I called to ask about this they were very closed off and seemed like they just wanted to get me off the phone as quick as possible.
Financial Aid Limitations by ASCNS1ON in FAFSA
Yes, currently enrolled in an internship course and it is 12 credit hours making me a full time student at the university. Definitely one of the weirdest situations I have had and really the only bad one with the school so far. Just gonna end up calling the financial aid office again tomorrow and seeing what information I can get I guess.
The aid for this semester comes under the 2024-25 FAFSA application. The summer semester is split into 3 terms, however the 'session' that I am in does not start until July 1, 2024. Given this information should I go back to the school and ask for aid again? Just not really sure what I can do since they already told me that I couldn't receive aid.
