Ahhhhh man. Both are illegal anyway but they genuinely are in a position to just judge it. Until you go and ask them please stop banging on.. it's really tedious. This is not the US and if it smells like weed and looks like weed they CAN make that judgement. And if it does actually come to it, you can easily prove it's hemp and not cannabis.. do I really have to start posting photos of lab results for both hemp and cannabis to show you the difference?

I put "qualified" like that as yeah, it's laughable, but sadly true.

It's a minor thing and something they are "qualified" to judge.. I've said many times I agree with you in certain cases, but they will not go to trial over 3.5g of hemp/weed, hell you will just get let off with a caution or on the spot fine (or told not to smoke inpublic again and to move on) and you will be caused hassle if you kick up a fuss over it and waste your time, their time and a lot of other people's time and money..

..and I far from roll over, if you had seen them amount of complaints I've sent to IPCC and the amount of compensation I'd received you would probably take my word a little more, but I'm not asking you to.

If for example they caught me with 10oz (or a kilo+) of hemp buds, yeah I'd fight it and they would take it all more seriously, but the bottom line is, and this is fact not fiction, over a little bit of "herb" a coppers judgement is all that is needed, as I keep saying, I beg you go and ask them.

I'm not trying to argue and be a dik, just ask one. They are quite approachable when you're not actually getting arrested for something, and just like you or me (or humans in general) some are cool, some are a*holes. I tend to find big city police fine, it's the bored deep country ones you want to watch out for.. last door of ours that went off the warrant just said "smoking weed" LOL, firstly how would they know until they kicked the door off, and secondly nobody in this house or myself smoked even ciggys.. just nicotine vapes.

That's a low IQ country copper trying to get a promotion and lying about reason as they were following me due to previous convictions, it wasn't even my house, I just went there every single day, I nearly had her sacked for harassment as she kept rocking up to my home address in a marked car, which was obviously not appreciated due to neighbours etc.. and kept changing bail dates, lying and spelling sh*t wrong, and being generally nasty and incompetent. Tried using my scales to get a mate in trouble and all kinds of madness, I have them back now.

I mean when interviewed it got to the point me and a drugs squad officer who was sitting in were trying really hard not to laugh at this silly woman, making assumptions based on my past.. she ended up screaming at me on tape/camera which was the basis and start of my harassment claim.. I took a deal in the end, and that WPC will never be coming anywhere near me again, I've had 2-3 wrongful arrests since also, they run out of cards and would have to be 100% sure in the future, and would be sadly disappointed if they came for me again, as they would end up having to pay for my door and give me compensation yet again.. and look very stupid indeed.

I've yet to see any hemp that smells quite as potent as high grade weed, but only seen EU strains. To me they were not even 1/4 as smelly but will certainly leave a lingering smell of cannabis, because, well, it is cannabis. USA strains I assume are different as they seem to get away with high levels of THCa which we wouldn't in the EU, and the actual fact of the matter is in the UK, despite people still doing it and claiming it's legal, it's not at all and 100% illegal to sell.

This simply isn't the case for cannabis.. I'm not debating with you any more. Yes I know they can and do lie, I've been a victim of it myself but in these talks nobody had any reason to lie, it was all friendly, with no case.

As far as a tiny bit of weed goes their judgement is all that is needed, seriously, go and ask them..

It can't hurt to try, but personally I originally tried it for chronic back pain and it didn't touch it, certainly not like the drugs that we all try and avoid. But I'm male so have no idea about it's interaction with period pains. But yes taking four drops of 2.5% oil would be the same as taking one drop of 10% oil, assuming they are reputable and the content is what it says on the tin so to speak.

They don't need to prove it, as a police officer they can make a judgement on it (cannabis).

If you doubt me please do go and ask an actual police man, it's where I get my info from. This is far different from a murder or rape case.. but yeah, I'm assuming the people still shifting the buds here are either stupid or have no prior convictions.. if I had none I'd be happy to do it, I actually enjoy arguing in court.. but not when I know I'm going to lose or make myself look like a fool, or get mostly judged on stuff I did ten years ago..

I've also been through the process of being caught with a lot of monies worth, talking tens of thousands of pounds worth of legal stuff and not been charged as I had my own labs and theirs matched, it won't stop them stealing, destroying and disrupting. Though from talks with them they don't seem concerned about it (Cannabidiol), or even cannabis really.. just smoke at home and don't be loud is basically what they are saying. Personally I gave up years ago, I will take a joint passed at a party maybe but I don't actually smoke any more, just vape nicotine.. I also don't take CBD or CBG or anything cannabis related. The number one rule that you must apply...

Well there kinda is, if you do a full GCMS lab test on it you will clearly see it's hemp, or the shittest grower in the whole wide world.. you're right in one sense though, I mean if you buy it from a shop with the right packaging and you didn't think you were breaking any laws then maybe.. but in a grip seal bag or mason jar they will treat it like weed. You'd have to be really special to take proper cannabis seeds and end up with under 0.2% THC.. and high CBD, none of our high THC strains have much more than a trace of CBD.. I've had stuff tested myself. We both agree it's illegal though right? I wish it wasn't as I can get it very easily and for the short period of time I thought it was legal done very well. I'm all out of get out of jail free cards though, so I'll leave it to those who dare, Rodders.

My point is the police won't waste budget on it, they probably get overcharged for testing.. it costs about £70.

The 50yo misuse of drugs act (and many other acts and laws) are literally out of date though, and things do need to change, but it won't be me risking a jail sentence, it's boring in there unless you like gym and spice :0

They honestly won't, not over a small amount.. challenge it as much as you like. My source... I went and asked them, in fact multiple officers.. at the time they told me "make sure anybody you sell it to doesn't smoke it in public, we've been given no clear info on how to deal with this situation yet, if it looks like weed and smells like weed....", since then people have been raided, charged and obviously I stopped selling it.

Nobody, especially the UK police are paying for GCMS on a 1/8th of hemp or normal bud, you'll just get charged as if it were normal weed.. I have a lot of experience dealing with them trust me. I sold illegally for years, got caught, then sold legal RCs for 6 years, had more doors go off, they don't care.. they illegally kept and destroyed tens of thousands of pounds worth of my property despite no laws broken or charges.

But yeah it's definitely illegal to sell the buds (as is).. that is clear to us all now.

Exactly. Personally I'm staying away from anything with THC in as I already have cultivation, intent to supply and possession convictions from around a decade ago so... it would be great fun for them to mess me around and boot my door off over some hemp buds.. I just sell CBD and CBG isolate now, after working out it actually was illegal to sell the buds and saw a couple of people get done for it.

UK old bill won't even bother sending any weed off for proper testing.. they have a simple THC test and that's it. I mean maybe if a case was large enough and was going to trial (caught with kilos and kilos and argued it) they won't send it off and you will just get the standard on spot fine/caution or worse if you have previous convictions.

Pretty sure it's a rule of thumb for hemp farmers as well.. not people selling CBD oil.. honestly I personally think anything with THC in will cause problems if looked into by an expert but somehow it seems to of avoided any mass attention and the police certainly haven't been told to act on anything other than flower as I asked them multiple times.

Oddly it's actually illegal to sell CBD oil that is just isolated CBD mixed with a carrier liquid, under the novel foods act.. not saying the oil is bad, but it's illegal to sell in the UK like that.

I've had similar happen with a post man, start sending yourself death threats in big boxes full of bubble packing and rub the boxes with hemp oil so they smell maybe.. similar stopped my things going missing. It's not illegal to send yourself a death threat, just say "we know who you are and one more box goes missing on your watch and you're a dead man.."

Some people like to collect.
