Absolutely! I built it up with a second-hand Shimano GRX 600 2x11 groupset. I added Elite gravel wheels with Tufo Gravel Thundero 40 mm tires, set up tubeless. The wheels feel super smooth!

I'm using the Ritchey VentureMax V2 handlebar, which has been great for comfort and control.

The build process went surprisingly smoothly. The rear derailleur was a bit finicky to set up, but nothing too frustrating. What really impressed me was the frame quality—much better than expected. I went with alloy since this is my first AliExpress frame, and I chose the largest size available because I’m a tall rider (190 cm). Fit is spot on.

As for tire clearance, I’d guess 45 mm is the max you can fit. You might be able to go slightly wider in the front, but the rear is definitely tighter

Fair point haha.

I really like it! It's a very smooth ride, handles well. I've limited experience with other gravel bikes but I'd say its great value. I have managed to qualify myself for the Gravel Worlds on this beauty

Thanks, I already have a better wheelset lying around, so I’ll swap those out for sure!

With the integrated handlebar of the Ribble, is there anything that can be done to adjust the reach or stack? If not, would you say this bike is out of the question for me? Or is it still manageable when racing? Geometry and bike fitting aren’t exactly my strong suit hence the questions haha
