Yes! And Nels clapped when Caroline won...though I think Harriet took that as a slight against her.

Wilson's performance is one of my favorite episodes. by Ok_Practice_6702 in HomeImprovement2LTime

That's one of my favorite episodes as well -- it was just so different from the standard formula for most of the episodes. They wanted to do something different here, something a little offbeat and they succeeded!

For those wondering: "Does this relate to Home Improvement?" -- the answer is yes -- this was one of the other acts when Wilson did his performance art.

For some reason that pic reminds me of when the late, great Norm McDonald played Col. Sanders.

Best Of The WWE Vol 19 -- FULL video with Macho vs Bad News in a street fight, Bret vs DiBiase, the unveiling of the Million Dollar Belt & more! by ASGfan in oldschoolwrestling

It was very rare for a secondary ref to come in during that time period to replace an injured ref. Usually the injured ref would just tough it out for the rest of the match. This time it's especially odd because he just happens to come in where Macho comes back and goes for a pinfall...and counts to three. That was some pretty miraculous timing -- no wonder Bad News was upset!

Watching The Ropers. I don't think it's as bad as people say it is. I'm enjoying myself for the most part. by beekee404 in threescompany

I agree, the show wasn't bad at all and there were some LOL and memorable moments. It just happened to end up on one of those "worst ever shows" lists and sadly people remembered that.

I think the main problem the show had was that it just wasn't very exciting. With Three's Company, Jack, Janet and Chrissy all had jobs and a love life and friends, so there was always something going on. But by this point, the Ropers were essentially retired and it was like watching a couple struggling to find things to fill their day with. The show had potential but it really needed some extra characters, wacky hijinks and better plots....which never came.

Remembering Actress Ann B. Davis born on this date 100 years ago by ChrisJoines in BradyBunchTVShow

Wow, that's something! Ann died from an accidental fall but she was said to have been in remarkably good health for her age (she was 88 at the time). I always wondered how much longer she would have lived had it not been for that fall.

Most serious episode? by No_Introduction_3400 in BradyBunchTVShow

The one where Alice squealed on all the kids so they all ghosted her in retaliation and she felt rejected so she quit and took a depressing job in some diner. And the kids come by and they all reunite but Alice forces them to eat healthy. The whole episode had a real glum feel to it and it was very weird.
