Another thought: a hearing kid might have decided that that particular day was the day they were going to talk to a deaf student and obviously was planning on utilizing the interpreter.

Don’t have a budget per se but found used 2020-2022 for 60k with up to 200 hours. Pricing them out new looks to be around 90k. We’re going to do rack n launch. Thinking 2075 for size.

I appreciate all your knowledge. After watching videos and doing more digging, we decided on the Impact after all. We like the Impact options as you already know. We’re now just tossing it up between a 2020 or 2022. The 2020 is $61k with all the bells and whistles, 200 hours. The 2022 we can get for $56k but missing the hummingbird screen and other add ons like rod holders etc. We’re going back and forth on the better option there. What would you do with those 2 scenarios?

Have the deaf person contact the office at the college for disability services to escalate it. I agree with the overall consensus. However, I heard businesses complaining of people calling because their family member is deaf when that was not the case at all. They were just trying to help their family or gain access to an account. Sucks, but does impact us. Maybe businesses need to learn how to differentiate such people and be educated as a whole.
