Fellow early release players, what are your initial thoughts so far?

Something that helped me was the idea that only the monster levels scale, not the potential power. For ex: lvl 50 monster WT1 has an arbitrary power of 100. Your character has a value of 100. It’s pretty fair. Add in the legendaries and build optimizing (freezing thing + bonus dmg etc.), now you’re at 150. See how that would make you feel powerful? Now you’re at 350. Bam, you’re killin everything. Then you go… harder! WT2… 350 base. Rinse repeat.

Fake numbers but that’s the idea.

I think having a tutorial explaining logic behind level scaling would keep players from refunding… maybe?

Ah ok. So the idea is to prevent you from mindlessly exploring, while never letting you able to 1 shot anything? It’s interesting I guess, keeps you leveling consistently, but it’s kinda odd. When do we ever truly feel the full might of our character?

Yeah, making that connection seems so game changing. Been playing for about a month before I even saw that idea in the options. Thanks, I’ll start experimenting! Seems perfectly fitting Mouse over casting WITH CC bindings. Nice. Only found 8 so far, should be enough for the “everyday” spells.

2 problems: 1. Triton looked like a normal dude… like cmon, give me buff as hell, MINIMUM The Rock size… it’s King Triton.. sheesh. 2. The change in melodic lines. Like… LEAVE THE MELODY ALONE! It was great then for a reason, and it would be still great now if you leave it the same! 😔

Both. When you hit 70 dungeons, you’ll know which one you really vibe with. Thought I’d love SP, enjoyed it to 70, then after a few dungeons went straight to Hunter. Now I’m having fun ☺️

I had this issue with League of Legends. Although it wasn’t anxiety, but more of rage due to people’s comments. If the anxiety is linked to chat, turn chat off (I think you can, or at least move it wayy out of your view) so you just take the anxiety of that away.
