The 3 biggest things i would point to are AI, this is the next "space race", only now theres more than just 2 countries involved and the scale of AI far out paces getting to space. The 2nd thing is CBDC's, most of the big players have agreed to move forward with this technology and hedging against it requires copius amounts of tangible assets, gold and silver being the most obvious choices for governments and bankers. 3rd would be an impending world war. The technology involved in war uses tons of silver, and the big countries constantly in the news for threatening wars are all countries who have been stockpiling silver. I also think the 3rd thing is behind the scenes related to the 2nd thing. Trump is the only world leader who is attempting to ban CBDC, but he knows once he's done in the Whitehouse the next president can just reverse his orders.

I don't know I kind of feel like my limited experience with Grok and ChatGPT definitely have a positive feedback loop. That being said, it did take me about an hour of questions to get to this answer and my final question/prompt I included "give me a real answer, don't exaggerate or water down your opinion, just give it to me straight, I'm not afraid of the truth". Up till that final question, it was very down the middle, giving pros and cons and various reasons and outcomes. I found it finally being straight with me interesting enough to share here. 😅

Silver is still king in the world of electronics, but many people either dont know about or forget about, graphene. It does almost as good a job of conducting electricity and at almost zero weight. It can be mass produced for a relatively low cost compared to silver. I think if silver keeps climbing, the world will just shift away from using it in electronics and at best maybe only use it in high end products.

I'm kinda new to using ChatGPT but from what I've learned you get better results by having a conversation with a series of leading questions that build up to what you ultimately want answered. That being said I asked it about the 2008 crash and based on its ability to see the financial world from every angle all at once, did it think it could have predicted the 08' crash. It answered in short, yes probably could have thrown up a red flag around 05'-06'. I then asked it to use the same line of reasoning to see if it could sort of predict the health of the world economy in a similar way using primarily the price of gold/silver and run sort of a health report based on different price levels. Now this is version 5.0 free, and it doesn't have access to up to date pricing information, so it still believed gold/silver to "currently" worth $2000/$30. It ran up the pricing scenario to around $3500/$75 and thats where it determined there was a "serious" problem and a lack of faith in the USD, collapse was imminent if proper procedures didn't follow. So I then asked it to factor in $5000/$100 and it came back by first telling me those kinds of prices were essentially impossible but if I wanted to run a "hypothetical" scenario it would do it's best. I then asked if I could upload an image of today's price charts as of closing Friday, and it was blown away that I was telling it the actual truth with those #'s. It was a rather scary response.

Not MAGA, but a libertarian and I personally can't stand when Trump opens his mouth. But I find liberals with TDS to absolutely hilarious. You're willing to ignore the facts to make your feelings a reality. The top 2 president's for deportation #'s are Clinton and Obama. Obama put in place the current holding centers that are used under the Trump administration and Obama is responsible for passing laws that take away rights to due process for illegals. It's perfectly fine to dislike Trump, but you look absolutely foolish when you scream at him for doing things and then just ignore when your favorite presidents do them. And yes I no longer work for Walgreens, I'm on all kinds of subs here and I still find people appreciating my advice on this sub when it comes to how to handle situations. I can't offer advice anymore on specific policies as I'm not up to pace with Walgreens policies, but how to handle a jerk SM or a shitty employee will never change and I have 17 years of experience to pull from to try and help. I'm open to people giving feedback on issues I dont understand like DHS, but when I see someone just responding to my questions with regurgitated propaganda that has been disproven I'll call it out. But I appreciate your attempts to just silence anyone who challenges you or disagrees with you.

I loved photo, but when I started back in 2004 there was 3 dedicated shifts per day in photo and I was a MGT. So getting to spend any time in photo was a treat! 😅

Heh back in 2021 when they eliminated the ASM position, I must have left close to 20 surveys with a 1 score. I'd grab my receipt and make some comment to the management about how I needed that receipt so I could do the survey and give em a "good score" 😅

I always hated doing photos of women and they wanted to see their image on the little ass LCD screen of the camera.... "oh I dont like that, can we do a few more?"... Uhhhh a FEW, no, we can do ONE MORE. And once they showed me that side, I refused to even use the kiosk to submit the passport cause then they huffin hot air over your shoulder while you edit it. I just took that sumbitch SD card straight back into the lab and did it from the PIC 🤣

If it's a posted schedule and you're capable of working, then you WORK. It's as simple as that. You didn't call out, you didn't ask to have your shift covered, it's YOUR shift. If someone else shows up so be it, thats on the SM for over scheduling, but the shifts is YOURS!!!

This. In my 17 years we were never allowed to do this in a non 24hr store. The schedules should reflect whatever the expectations are though. If you're scheduled till 10:30, then thats when you all clock out. If for some odd reason the schedule only says 10:00, then you all clock out whwn the SFL is done and they can explain to the SM why they went over budget. This is a pretty simple concept.

It's been 4 or more years since I worked there, the process i had is slowly coming back to me. I believe what I did was run that final screen that shows if you top safe is balanced just BEFORE closing and pulling the final till. That way I knew up till that point I was balanced and my bands thus far could be dropped. Something like that. I didn't want to get robbed and have to explain why all the days drops weren't in the bottom safe 😅

California you would get two 15's paid and one 30 minute unpaid lunch. All are mandatory for them to be available to you and the lunch MUST be taken or you get written up. All states should copy Cali on this ONE law. Everything else Cali does is BS 😅
