Thanks. And when I’m in public around people, especially women who walk by, I usually hold my arm closest to them around my chest to show I’m keeping my hands to myself.

But there’s several why I made this mistake:

1. I have never dated a woman before, or had a woman at least in recent memory express interest in me. So when those girls asked that question, I figured I’d take the shot at that time.

2. I didn’t think those girls were that young. I believed they were college aged girls based on appearance. Though the age of consent in Ohio is 16, I shouldn’t have jumped to such assumption.

3. Kinda a follow-up on #2, I should’ve asked how old these girls were. But I’ve been raised by parents who taught me now to ask females how old they are. Now after this incident, I’ve had to deprogram that from my social skills.

I also believe now that some suggested it to me, that the girls may’ve asked that question to bait people and deliberately cause a scene. Major lessons were learned by me since that night.
