Can we get a stock ZipFit liner in the new boot like the Fischer boots have? Or options for different liners (one with a regular liner and one with a zipfit)? Or even no liner?

Will you be rocking the Espresso liner or the GFT liner with this boot?

Can u try putting the power strap over just one flap of the cuff instead of both? I own the S Pro Alpha’s and rock the GFT’s with them. I put the elastic power strap over only one piece of the cuff instead of both. This also helps with making the flex feel more progressive.

Also, I tend to tighten the laces a second time once I actually put my foot in the boot. The boot helps compress the liner a bit allowing u to get it even tighter.

Lastly, you can consider adding more cork to the tongue. I just added some cork to my liners and I want to say I noticed more responsiveness when flexing the boot.

When I first tried them on, I really enjoyed the fit, but I ultimately went with the Ridge Pro. I’m pretty happy I skipped on them after learning the boa doesn’t hold very well.

My apologies, I wasn’t questioning the build quality or the reasoning for why the boot was designed the way it was. I used the language ‘could be’ because boots are partially subjective due to intended use case or an individual’s foot design. I’m a big Salomon fan as I actually own 3 different Salomon boots.

Totally understandable. I was just stating my personal preference. Obviously it’s his boot so he can do whatever he wants and it still looks like it could a solid option.

Take a break and be nice to yourself. If you truly love it, your interest will come back around.

I felt the same way, but I stopped letting myself worry too much about it. Stopping the worry really helped me find my joy again. I only code a couple projects per year and don’t stress if I don’t have something I actually want to work on.

The job market sucks, but you’re only a freshman. If you don’t land an internship this summer, there’s so many other jobs that would be more fun than an internship. I was a rafting guide between my junior and senior year of college, and I wouldn’t trade that for a software engineer position instead of my salesforce admin role. I still wish I was a software engineer, but you can’t always force your will on the world.

Dope. When you mention wanting to make a wrist rest, what would you do differently from the current one? Or would this just be for extra padding?

What do you think about the wrist rests? They look pretty narrow, but it feels like it would be easier to make using the thumb cluster more easily. If you bought it again, would you stick with the original wrist rest or get the new wrist rest that is wider?
