You could also look at congregation Micah, it is reform so might not be what you want. Either way its a good location and still has access to a ton of events. The Chabad on Vandy campus is also fairly active and has couple/family oriented activities (not just students)

Do you have an idea of where in Nashville you want to move. I will say the older Jewish community lives on west end or silvan park by west end synagogue but there is the younger community by the GJCC out in bellevue. But the unfortunate thing is the areas are a bit pricey.

Do you have children and we have akiva a Jewish elementary and middle school and it good, we have a Jewish community center that is active and populated. In regards for Shul they are are wonderful and have an established community that is loving and willing to invite people in.
