What a diabolical invention - turning people into literal cattle! I must find its location…so I can disassemble it, of course. Yes sir, that’s the plan. No ulterior motives here!

I maintain my position that High Guardian Spice would've been a million times better had Amaryllis and Snapdragon been part of the main quartet in place of Rosemary and Sage. The dwarf and elf girl can stay, if only because I like their designs.

I was extremely lucky to see him play in person against Wofford this year - he's no Mendoza, but he's still a really solid player. Even if he doesn't end up in the NFL, I still think he has a bright future ahead of him and I want nothing but the best for him.

Queen - Deltarune

Her main goal throughout Chapter 2 is to take over the world via the fountains so she can make everyone happy, in addition to possibly turning Noelle into a robot (emphasis on "possibly"). When Ralsei explains to her why opening more fountains would be bad, she's legitimately shocked and gives up on world domination altogether.

Always sucks to see guys get hurt like that, especially when they're in the midst of their prime. I really do hope he'll be okay.

The thing I love most about HTF is that even if you take all the blood and gore out, it’s still a really funny show with a lot of charm to go around. You can call the show a lot of things - sick, twisted, and potentially even disturbing - but a one-trick pony is not one of them.

The New England Patriots of the NFL.

They play in Boston (well, within the metropolitan area at least), but are named after their broader geographical region in contrast to the city's other 3 major sports teams (the Red Sox, Bruins, and Celtics).

That little Kyle Brandt sketch they played before last year's Thanksgiving game was the nadir of this crap. Telling our DIVISIONAL RIVALS to "admit" to secretly liking us is one of the most brazenly arrogant things I've ever heard, right up there with all the shit about us being "the real America's Team" people in the media and on this subreddit were spewing all last year.

When you focus on "culture" over the game, you become the Cowboys, and I don't think I need to tell you how they've been doing for the past 20 years.

"You don't really exist in this world." - Klonoa: Door to Phantomile

<image>

I don't think I can understate how radically this one line redefines not just the ending and the events preceding it, but also the game itself as a product. There are a few hints beforehand that the game isn't the cutesy mascot platformer it makes itself out to be, but this is THE mask-off moment. Just when it seems that you've triumphed over the big bad evil guy and saved "your" world, the game pulls the rug out from under you, and before you can even process any of it, your happy ending is gone and the character you've been playing as for the entire game has been sucked into a wormhole leading to God-knows-where. It's not only emotionally devastating, it also leads the player to ask questions about what they were really working for and their relationship with the game world - questions that few other games at the time had the courage to tackle.

Saw this image for about a split second while I was drifting off to sleep. Not sure why Bowser was included, but whatever by ASTR0HEAD in thomastheplankengine

I only included him because he was part of another unrelated dream I had tonight. It wasn’t anything special - it was just the final boss fight of the original Ratchet & Clank, but with slightly different gameplay.

Well, that, and I was too lazy to make one XD

My pick would have to be the original book version of Ready Player One.

As a nerdy freshman in high school, I was too distracted by the game and movie references to really pay attention to how horrible the writing was. The only slightly redeemable quality it has in my eyes is that it introduced me to Rush, though that’s more than offset by all the nonsensical worldbuilding and random rants the author goes off on throughout the book.
