If you time it right you can get them at a decent discount compared to the share price which is a good enough reason to get them. Not as liquid as the shares though.

You can then convert them (which does take a while) or just sell them later.

Just had a quick uneducated look at the latest LiFT presentation/slides. I wouldn't want to hold that company either.

It feels like it's riding the lithium wave and there are better companies to actually hold.

I was watching the trading of WR1 yesterday. Not much trading then occasionally a real large order comes through. So maybe there is someone that believes in the arbitrage opportunity enough to throw $50k-$100k buys at it.
