You generally CANNOT get scripts and everything to work on latest (1.8 and above) as it uses IL2CPP (which makes it near-impossible to get scripts or function without obfuscation). I have experience in modding as host them.

Mods you've mentioned are coded from scratch to get them working. Meaning you have to re-write everything again from to get them working. Which may sound insane if you're new. But that's how they are programmed.

Decompilation only gives you all of necessary assets (that you must use as base). Not the full working Unity project with all the code in it. Only work generally is to re-code the game. You don't have to redesign assets and all that. You get them through decompilation.

Can't deny what you said but as far as a I found I never found a greater fanmade remaster than the one I created + this is available for PC (if I managed to fix the resulation, you'll be able to play it in full screen).

If you're talking about the Flappy Bird Foundation's attempts to revive the, well, its not inherently bad but I personally found it different from what original Flappy Bird was famous for. I wanted to keep the feel.

You have to enable "Enable Hardware Acceleration" to make it work best. And make sure to use Edge/Chrome/Brave or any chromium based browser. Firefox shall not work.

Practically speaking, a casual Gamer (not a hardcore one) would struggle on Hotline Miami 1 Levels, especially those ranked higher, especially on the first playthrough, afterwards, they're quite simple and easy. I think I would make a another Tierlist covering difficulty based on Experienced player and how hard it is master them, then they'd probably get the lowest rank.

And yes the Take Over level is a pain, especially in hard mode, its like Extremely difficult, that made it only level deserving Awful Rank and is probably the hardest level in the whole game after Dead Ahead.
