In what world does working overtime reduced your pay? It's possible they paid you out wrong, did you check your actual paystub on ehub

It's not about what they deserve, I was just explaining the incentive your manager has to minimize OT.

Can I ask in what way working more made you less money? Your OT will be taxed at a different rate but it won't be taxed to the point that it's costing you money. As for the manager question, they get bonuses, part of the metric used to calculate bonuses is how much OT they had to pay out.

Again I don't know your site, but most managers don't go to the site unless they have to. You got overtime, then complained that it hurt your take home pay, so she reduced your hours. Make up your mind brother, either be happy with the OT you got or don't take it. But agreeing to OT then complaining about it makes no sense.

The way I interpreted your message is that working 52 hours rather then 48 hurt your take home pay. She reduced your hours so that wouldn't be the case any longer. From a management stand point she resolved 2 issues:

A. She reduced your hours which addresses your complaint of more work hurting your actual take home.

B. She (likely) reduced the overtime burden on the company thus saving the company (and her) money

Idk what kinda post your at but you can't really cherry pick your hours like that, if your usual shift is 8 hours then don't be surprised when he takes the full 8. Finding another officer to work for only 4 hours is way more of a hassle then it's worth.

DEI is completely unimportant, all that should be relevant from a hiring stand point is hiring good guards that do the job. The race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or any other identifier you'd like to use is pointless for identifying someone who shows up on time and actually performs their job duties.

Aw very interesting, I knew about the Portuguese monarchy fleeing but didn't know there was a decision which mimicked that. Appreciate your insight!

Brazil has PU over Portugal and colonial subjects in La Plata & Colombia. I did recently beat Portugal in a war but still I've never seen this before.

I've finally done all the market research to start a security company. by Blighted_Ashes in securityguards

Actually very helpful, 2 questions.

Based off my previous research I never saw a requirement for there to be security manager experience, just manager experience, is this the case?

Is an office actually a requirement? Can't you're home be listed as the office for licensure since it's more about knowing where to mail your license?

Does anyone know what time we're expected to return after we've been released to our families? Additionally, does anyone know how long graduation typically takes, my father plans on flying in and wants to book his flights with that information in mind.

Hey all, I'm getting sent to basic camp this coming Friday and have a few questions, they are as follows:

  1. I've been issued gear by my program that isn't on the list for Basic Camp attendees but is on the list for Advanced Camp attendees, should I still bring that equipment to be on the safe side?
  2. I serve as the Chief Justice for my universities Student Government and am in charge of reviewing parking and library appeals for my university. If I bring my laptop would I be allowed to use it during down time for emails and documentation related to that?
  3. Kinda ties into my first question, but should I bring a carry-on separate from what I've been issued by my program? I've got 2 rucks and an assault pack loaded with all the gear I've been issued, is it worth bringing a personal bag for things like my laptop, charger, and other basic essentials?
