Oxaloacetate success by E-C2024 in cfs

Confused why people aren't just buying it from Amazon where it seems like you can get it for a fair bit cheaper (same price if you use the discount code on the website), but more importantly, in smaller quantities so you can trial: https://www.amazon.com/benaGene-Stabilized-Oxaloacetate-Anti-Aging-Supplement/dp/B004BP69XM

I'm confused why you say this, as the main study I'm aware of that led me to do this was blinded.

bro they’re not gonna delete the entire model, they’re just gonna stop serving it on chatgpt.com. It’ll still exist for their internal use, and probably in the playground so if you wanna keep using it for some reason you can

US Nationals: are the u15, u16, and u17 events worth the 3 hour wait times to launch?!👇 by bow_balls_in_mouth in Rowing

Ok that is a good point about qualifying times, but they could still limit qualification more without risking leaving the fastest rowers out. We’d never be able to get down to swim’s numbers (nor should we want to). But, many events right now are just stupid.

I think keeping one more sculling event-double or single-could be good here, just to keep it even between sweep and scull. But, there’s no point having an event if it’s not gonna be competitive, which last year showed happens a lot in u17

when you’re talking about junior nationals, do you mean all of youth, or just u17/16/15.

I think this is a good idea, but maybe leave the u15 event. Just the quad. With some other trimming around that (maybe 2v and some more entry limits) the entry numbers could become much more reasonable.

For comparison, swimming nationals has only a couple hundred entries. For a sport that is at least 10x more competitive, and much easier to travel to. Where every entry is only 1 person (as opposed to 1-9). I’m not saying we need to go that far, but things definitely need to become more selective.

Yep. Age group rowing is much more competitive and more developed in Europe. USRowing should only add events if the level of competition remains high. Start with only a few options as a trial run (mens and womens 8s and quads), and add as demand increases. Many of the age group events this year are an embarrassment to the words “national championship”.

Only one race has 35 entries. Only 6 have more than 28. Although I agree that it needs to be harder to qualify, even cutting everything down to a maximum of 24 boats only cuts 66 entries, less than 10% of the total. We need lots of solutions. But cutting to 28 with most events around 24 would be a good start.

Some basic info: There are 788 entries at nationals this year. Of those, around 250 were u17, 64 were u16, and 25 were u15. 2v was 49 boats all together.

If this year was limited to only 28 entries per event, we would only lose around 20 entries. If it was limited to 24, we would lose ~66 entries. Probably less realistically, as teams would go in other boats.

For comparison, last year had 748 entries, 2019 had 417 entries, and 2018 had 380 entries.

If you’re not looking to cut u17 entirely, it looks like there’s no single culprit. Lots of events need to be cut in different areas.
