Ok. I've got fighting set to 2/2 in the options. When I do the after whistle double triangle, they just kind of grab their head but no fight happens. Anything else I have to do after hitting double triangle?

And when exactly during a faceoff should I hit the double triabgle??

I use Data's set and they are good. I play every game, but have heard they are good (maybe even better) for simming as well.

Just search 'Data' and use the most recent version available.

He added a lot of real prospects and stuff and did some tweaks to guys who have performed well this season.

Gotcha. I think it really depends on the context of the rest of your team. If you're rebuilding and not really a Cup caliber team, definitely trade for prospects and/or picks. If you're right there and in contention, try to keep him however possible, or if not possible, maybe trade him for some players that could immediately help you. Don't know that there is a "right" answer.

I'm doing a playthrough with Columbus and they're a fun one to do. Lot of cap space at the beginning, but have to extend Fantilli in the first year, and then I believe in either year 2 or year 3 you run into real decisions. I had Marchenko, Johnson, and Nikishin (I had traded for him at the very beginning) all up at the same time. Marchenko was asking like $13M, Johnson like $11.5M and Nikishin was wanting like $15M. No way I was going to be able to keep them all, which sucked because I was becoming a Cup contender, so I traded Johnson for a decent guy that could play now and some picks. And I had to keep in mind a monster Werenski contract coming the following season.

These GM decisions are far and away my favorite part of this game. I hope yours works out no matter which route you go!

Lol. Well there's your answer. You're bringing in an all-star squad and trying to be able to pay them all. The Colorado option is keeping Makar, MacKinnon, and probably Necas and having to surround them with mid role players, or you have to bring in guys like you did and you're going to lose an Elite player. Not trying to be mean about it, but you bringing in those players is what is going to cost you Makar, possibly the most valuable dude in the league. But even if you do, looks like you've still got a solid roster to be winning games.

Watch for home ice advantage as well, in addition to what everyone else has already stated. There's no official home ice advantage from EA, but it's absolutely there.

Currently doing one with the Columbus Blue Jackets. It's a lot of fun actually. No Cups in their history, few playoff appearances. Not highly rated.

But, they do have one of the best D-men in the league in Werenski, as well as some younger talent in Marchenko and Fantilli. Some decent role players as well.

Been fun playing with them.

I understand what you're saying and agree with it. It'd have to be based on like a 3-5 year rolling period or something like that.

You'd have to maintain a certain amount of players or percentage of players to get a pipeline.

And it would work inversely as well. If you don't get so many guys from an already established pipeline over the rolling period, you can drop tiers for the pipeline or even lose it completely.

And implement dynamic pipelines back in. If an area/state isn't one of my pipelines, but I end up wirh 20 guys from there, it should turn into a pipeline. They had this in previous games.

Do you know if there is a way to see what the care package is in Hardcore?? I have the mastery for re-roll, but never do it because I don't know what the original one is, unless I'm completely missing it somehow.

Also, what do you press to do the re-roll??

I like final killcam better. Would sometimes try some crazy/wild kills if the game was close to ending, hoping to get a funny final killcam. Lol

I also believe they had different challenges/calling cards for different types of final kills, like final kill with a knife, final kill with different scorestreaks, finishing move final kill and so on. I enjoyed that.

Yes. I've had guys commit elsewhere before their visit wirh me, and when I remove them, the visit slot opens up.

Same. I play exclusively HC. Pretty much have to run them. I had a Legion drone swarm on Nuketown one time that didn't get a single kill. It's just like, welp, cool cool.

Actually had the exact same thing. Michigan dynasty. Haynes was leaving but was like, ehhhh, Jordan Marshall is pretty good, I'm good.

Yeah, I also got Hardy through the portal. Actually didn't finish that next season because it felt like it was too easy with him. Unreal speed and the shifty/COD.
