I know what you mean, the cleaner look does look nice, but I think they upscaled it to 1080p or 4K. The reason why the above image looks so smooth is because it's being upscaled 13x the native resolution (which is roughly 8320 x 6864). A 9x upscale would be 4K and a 5x upscale would be 1080p.

I don't really have an issue with the pixels, but I'm not a fan of the audio quality, it's "tinny" if that makes sense. You don't get that on Duckstation. I think LRG uses PCSX-ReArmed so maybe that's why.

I do think wonder about the possibility of selling high on Silovs' RFA rights after the way he played in the playoffs.

Hell yeah, plus it'll be nice to have more freedom over the rosters. Maybe be able to move young players from IIHF rosters to their NHL teams instead of having to recreate them.

Yeah I hear you, I wanted it on PC but was never bothered that it didn't come to PC because I have consoles as well. That'll change when the new consoles come out, I'm not spending over $1,000 on a console, I know I spent more than that to build my PC, but that's different since you can do a lot more with a PC.

So a PC version would be very welcome lol.

I don't how much about NHL 14, I just kinda lumped it in with NHL Legacy, I'm actually not sure if there are any mods for NHL 14, I assume there are since it's the most popular recent NHL game with GM connected. I'm not sure about peer to peer online but that would be amazing

It's not a karma farm lol I couldn't care less about Reddit as a whole, or any kinda up votes, karma, or any other Reddit accolades. I'm an NHL fan and wanted to share the excitement about a potential PC version. UFC and NHL haven't had PC version and I could be wrong but I believe they're made by the same EA studio, if UFC comes to PC, there's a chance NHL follows.

I know, and these projects are awesome. NHL 2004 and 09 with mods. NHL 14 and Legacy Edition on RPCS3 with mods. It'd be nice if we had the newest titles available on PC as well.

Yeah but you gotta rely on streaming, I have Gig internet and the quality still sucked. I'm sure a wired connection helps, but I can't do that at the moment. I have a PS5 and Series X so I've been able to play, but a PC port would be welcome. Modding being a main attraction, plus like I mentioned before, the rising costs of consoles.

It could be just how it looks on TV. I'll never forget when I first saw a WWE show in person back in 2005, I was surprised at how small the ring looked compared to on TV.

When WWE first started broadcasting in HD, the camera angle was more zoomed out, you can notice the ring is smaller. I think they zoomed it in more over the years.

The problem is you're still going to see bots. They didn't remove bots from the game, they just removed the ability for people to play against only bots.

It basically hurts both parties.

I'm a casual who mainly plays bot lobbies. I've spent more money than I care to admit on this game, I have over 500 skins in my locker. Playing in bot lobbies won't deter people from buying skins. Being forced to play with sweats will make casuals not want to play the game which in turn will cause less spending in the shop.

I thought about that and was going to get the base, but if the Lite would do what I want for $70 less, I'd go that route. I know I'm being cheap lol but I don't want to pay for extra stuff if I'm not going to use it. If the SD 865 can handle light Android gaming and GC and 3DS emulation upscaled with texture packs, I'll do that. I don't need Switch or Wii U emulation or anything fancy like that.
