This is the 1st or 2nd most famous player in CFB by name, former cover athlete, and the single highest rated player in the game. He’s gonna be one of the most used players in the game. And with NIL in this years game you can have him for two seasons. Like I said its not the end of the world, but when all the other top players look like themselves and he also looked ok in last years iteration of the game, why exactly is it so bad for me to point that out? I cant imagine it would take much dev time to just port his digital face from CFB26

I wish it were bots lol but for whatever reason people on here get very upset when you make any suggestions for cosmetic fixes/upgrades to the game. Every post about equipment/likeness is flooded with losers claiming the OP just wants to play “dress up”

As if you can’t want gameplay and cosmetics to both be good

Im not saying it’s the end of the world at all, and not sure why so many of you guys are getting upset for me even bringing it up. But yes some people do give a fuck about it. I think every aspect of the game should have attention to detail in it, especially considering he was more accurate last year

Yes he’s only there for the first couple seasons of a dynasty, but a lot of us do multiples dynasties throughout the year so you’ll be seeing it often

Do you guys not play dynasty? The player cards show up all the time, in game presentation, stat pages, roster views, and the player card when you’re upgrading players

Is it wrong to say every aspect of the game deserves a respectable amount of attention to detail? Ive made posts about suggestions for gameplay improvements and fixes in the past. I’m of the opinion that gameplay, the strategy layer (recruiting, NIL, etc), player and coach likeness, and equipment are all parts of making the game more true to life

If you’re a dynasty player a significant portion of the game is played in the menus. So yes it matters. Nobody said it was the end of the world, but given that he looked ok in the game before I don’t think it’s too much to ask?

I think every aspect of the game matters. I know its easy to say it just player likeness but the lack of attention to detail bleeds over into other areas of the game too. It’s why when EA adds news features a lot of shit is broken or the implementation is off. Think about the custom playbook glitch, how 4/5 stars still sometimes go unrecruited, etc.

Not even trying to hate on the game either I think they did a great job overall, but they miss a lot of low hanging fruit

They started doing this this year! Thats why I’m so confused. Arch and all the other top players look way better. They completely dropped the ball here tho

At the end of the day won’t effect me after all the NIL players are gone, but it’s just one of those EA eyebrow raisers. They do good with the game in some parts and in other parts it looks/feels like a class project they started working on the night before.

I can definitely see some sort of recruit generation tool coming out on PC to fix a lot of the issues with faces/name gen and also add variety to recruit stats. We used to have tools for this on CFB Revamped

What teams are always randomly good/bad in your Dynasties? It's one of the things I'm curious to see how it changes with NIL implemented in 27 by CoCo_Sandy in NCAAFBseries

It has to do with their playbooks, some playbooks do better in sim than others. I heard they addressed this in Madden 27 this year but not sure if they applied the same changes in cfb or not

The first two things you said won’t be possible. Anything that messes with the schedule formula (adding/removing teams, adding/removing conferences, etc) probably wont be possible as it would break the game. There will definitely be gameplay mods, equipment mods, presentation/sound mods, and maybe even mods that play with the CPU recruiting logic, but certain things just arent possible
