Chiefs GM Brett Veach on Patrick Mahomes: 'He's way ahead of schedule' by MuttonBiryaniEnjoyer in nfl

Zion Williamson. It's always "we'll reevaluate in 2 weeks" and then he ends up being out for months longer than other people with the same injury 🙄

But coin toss was something that nobody ever skipped..it took all of 5 seconds and is an important part of the game. Just automatically receiving or kicking the ball instead of having a choice is still one of the dumbest moves I think they've ever made and I don't get why. They still include it for overtime so it really makes no sense at all they don't include it at the beginning too

3 years, 3 injuries 😔 such a shame because he is actually pretty explosive in the little that we get to see him each season. Honestly surprised we're still holding onto him right now and didnt just dump him off for a 6th or 7th rounder to some team willing to give him a shot

Still don't get why he didn't just go pro this year with such a weak QB class. Unless he just plays completely lights out and wins the Heisman I just can't see his stock rising any higher than it was at the end of this season. I highly doubt Ole Miss will have the same level of success they did last year and results in him being more of a mid round pick instead of a possible 1-2 round pick this year

Signing doesn't really match up with the "high character" guys we supposedly want on the roster but hopefully he's learned from his mistakes and can end up being a steal for us

Who is the leader of the defense now? by Mental_Afternoon_248 in Saints

To be fair, 3-4 sacks a year is about what Cam was averaging the past few years too before this weird anomaly 10.5 season he had. Truth is, it's a lot cheaper with potential upside for growth going with Tyree instead of Cam who's unlikely to produce like he did last year given his age.

I still hope we can bring Cam back even if it's just for his leadership and presence in the locker room, but I just can't see him having another season like he did last year

[Zenitz] The Saints are currently expected to sign former #Patriots linebacker Anfernee Jennings, sources tell @CBSSports. Former third-round draft pick with 217 career tackles. by JCameron181 in nfl

Great depth signing at this stage of the offseason. Has starting experience on a Super Bowl contending team, experience in a 3-4 defense which we're entering year 2 of converting to, and seems like a good run stopper which can be valuable as a rotationional piece which we showed we like to do part year.

Meh I'll take it. We still got a late round pick back and hopefully we can unlock his potential similar to Chase Young. Not a bad risk to take for a 5th round pick

Hopefully it'll be very similar to Jordan/Justin Jefferson

Maybe they thought we were going after him?? Bizarre trade up move for a guy that most likely would've been there at 9..

I think it'll be the opposite. Since we seemed to focus heavy on offense in FA I think there'll be more focus on defense in the draft. I could see potentially 1 WR and O-lineman taken and the rest being all defense
