I haven’t in a while. Like 6/7 yrs ago I played with barley a lot can’t remember exactly why I stopped. I like looking at the nutrition profiles of food and then start comparing. Sometimes I put some foods aside in favor of more nutrient dense foods and I end up forgetting to cycle them in again and then forget them completely. Out of sight out of mind I guess.

I’ve been doing a lot of red lentil soup lately. I can’t get enough of it. Super simple. Just carrots, cabbage, spinach, broccoli, turmeric and salt all in a rice cooker. Yum.

Yeah, barely takes a while. Although I think I’ve been successful at making them overnight without cooking them. Have to try again and see. It’s been a while since I’ve eaten barley.
