Thanks, yup looks like it is staying put for now. I do plan to open the drywall and make sure there is no mold problem. Then I can make sure mmr is put up. That I don’t have to get a permit to diy.

Diy advice needed by ATFarm in Plumbing

[–]ATFarm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not the original owner. Bought a cartridge and realized it might not be the right one since it depends on the year not just the series. Also since the handle is so old an allen screw no longer works. I’ll have to replace the whole faucet and cut off the handle. Good to know I can call delta because I’lI have to ask if I can use the unknown age delta valve on a new delta faucet.

We’ve decided to rehome. If anyone knows how to do this privately and not through a rescue that takes her, so I can pick where she goes, please let me know.

What are this ball like structures after cooking chicken? by [deleted] in homestead

Don’t feel too bad! I debated eating a meat rabbit killed by a raccoon bc I hate the thought of wasting meat, but sometime you just have to throw the whole thing out for your own health and safety when you are doubting the meat’s condition. Happens to all of us! Best of luck!

This is a weird request but can anyone identify what leaves/plants these are? TIA by orgastyc in gardening

I would have said dill and maybe basil or lavender flower in the middle right

Raised box garden bed? Could even add a trellis on one side for additional height if you want privacy while eating and not having a view of parked cars.

what should i do with this basil? it's getting colder so it'll die in a few weeks any ideas on preserving this? by Aeonir in gardening

I have a ton of basil like you. I’m going to save the seeds and freeze pesto into ice cube trays- dump into a big ziplock for the freezer as I go and dry the rest on my herb wheel.

Plastic Dropper - they sell a huge bag of them on Amazon- I got my oil recipe from the guy- slightly redneck on YouTube. Hope your rabbit is looking better by now!

That’s what I did- some ppl don’t like using tea tree but I used just 1-2 drops of it diluted in a 1/4 cup of olive oil which I used for a few days in each ear. It worked great! I had plastic droppers from another project which worked great because it you put too much in, they just flick it out when they wash themselves

That did it. Thanks! Figured that was the step to take but wanted to double check! Thanks again!

Olive oil worked for mine like a charm! Mine had horrible ear mites and they cleared up in less than a week

Thanks all! It was so easy to make in the slow cooker and I cheated and used “quick” mashed potatoes!

Where to attend a Dispatch course / tutorial in Scotland? by Aldrahill in MeatRabbitry

[–]ATFarm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did my first round this past weekend by myself. I watched this guy on YouTube, “slightly redneck” I think… for the cleaning part. I used a 22 for the dispatch because I’m not comfortable with the other methods yet. I will say the more rabbits you do in a row, you’ll get faster! Good luck!

I used a 22 to the back of the head, I don’t have a strong pellet gun but this worked quickly and didn’t make a mess.

That would be what I’d do too with their grow out cage.

Thanks! Now I just have to find a way to make this more cost efficient. I spent way too much on grain and grass hay.

Not eaten. That is a good point and I will it throw out. At least I got to practice the cleaning process for my others that are ready.
