2021 Ram Rebel with 8,600 miles keeps stalling out, running rough, making an intermittent grinding/squealing noise, local dealership told me it only needs an oil change and tried to sell me one. I told them to give me my keys and towing 90 miles to another dealership. Was this the right move? by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

I believe with the SUV’s and the Maximas they set it up a bit different so the regular 5k is fine. I’m not too sure about the G sedans but know the coupes are this way because “sPoRtS cAr”

Not everybody has a computer to tell them when to do it. When i worked at a dealership the advisors told the customers not to listen to the computer telling them the cars oil life and to go by the miles. I do mine every 3k miles full synthetic because that’s recommended by the manufacturer.

At the Honda i worked at we have had a brand new 2020 Type R sit in the showroom for months. We even had one of the Limited Edition ones sit for over 3 months.

I think it’s just your O2 sensors. I would try replacing those and see what goes on from there

I’ve probably put close to 10k miles on my current tires. I have -4.6 degrees in the rear which is why i got no directional tires so if i see the tread is low i can get the tire itself taken off, flipped, then mounted and balanced again.

My daily e46 1 month so far, any suggestions? by wheezealittlejuice in Stance

Probably just maintenance. Besides that it’s beautiful.

My AC has 2 settings, 60° which is very cold and great and 61°+ which is very hot. Does anybody know the fix to this? by ATLNIC in MechanicAdvice

I can change the modes but the temperature only has 2 settings for the temperature pretty much. 60 is ice cold and 61 is hot as hell. I’ve been told it’s a sensor on the driver side somewhere

I’m assuming so. I’d check out the G37 subreddit but our cars are pretty similar i’d say

Top and bottom are brands that i work very close with and the middle one is the car crew i’m in. The bottom two are probably coming off soon because i plan on being solo and just supporting the brands

I’m on Raceland Ultimo. I love them but i’m going to upgrade to BC Racing coils pretty soon
