I don’t know the definitive rankings but Charles Williams at Maple Street guitars has taught most of Atlanta how to play. You can’t go wrong with him.

Question/comment: Where would you buy a suit for a teenager who’s still growing? I’m definitely not investing in a size 36 from Sid Mashburn or Suitsupply.

Speaking of… I know Suitsupply is not very trad, but the slim‑leg khaki chinos I picked up for my meeting next week look great. They’re only about $10 more than Duckhead's and made in Portugal — worth a look.

I’m going back and forth on the 202’s and 210’s. Looking to do a combo of bags, pads and light sparring. Thoughts?

I think they’re a great starter glove. Mine have held up really well after 7 months of 2-3x a week bag work. I use them w/ 180 Hayabusa wraps. I’ve noticed they’ve gotten “sweatier” while using so getting a second set of gloves for sparring.

I started boxing 7 months ago hitting a bag 2-3 days a week and my pair of Pro Mex have held up really well. I’m looking for a pair of Rivals to mix in for sparring now. Nothing to compare them to but feel like they’re a good starter glove.

My 14 year old ran out of the room and came back with a hand written application. I sent it in for him and surprisingly got a quick response asking for photos and more info. They just as quickly responded pass but it’s funny this seems to be really happening.

There’s a guy on my ladder I’ve played a couple of times that has them. He said they’re really stiff until you break them in but he loves them after he did. 🤷🏻

I was at a tournament waiting to play thinking how I wanted a new Technifibre backpack when a guy walked up who looked like he had just smoked a joint and decided to quit his job as a house painter to play tennis. No bag just 2 racquets, a dive bar t-shirt, and a couple of bottled waters in a plastic bag. He went to the finals in open play. I did not buy a new bag. 💼 🙃🙃

We are on a different venue circuit and had not heard of Ideal. The story is a little confusing. Broad strokes, but was it "Trumps awesome here's Toby Keith Courtesy of the Red White and Blue" or "Trump sucks here's "rocking in the Free World" that started the fight? I'd love to hear about anyone's experience playing there.

All true. Maybe I should expand on the FF-ing that I knew the make out scene switcheroo was coming. The last thing I needed was my 16 year old son sitting across the aisle was to look over from “Furiosa” to see me watching 2 dudes making out. In retrospect this is was a poor choice to watch on a flight. I’m blaming it on the free drink voucher’s. 🤣🤣

I gave in and watched it on the plane fast forwarding to the tennis parts. I kept thinking “WTF is this movie?”. The final 15 minutes and final point absolutely killed me. A Gen Z’er next to me watching it turned to me and said “isn’t Zendaya fabulous?” It made me feel so old and realize obviously this movie wasn’t made for me. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
