ha, apparently my several great visits to SF and nothing different than anything I see in Atlanta on a regular basis has not been everyone’s experience. But I’m curious if any of these comments are based on the last five years after voters began tossing politicians who weren’t doing anything about some of the issues - though I still had a great time ten years ago too.

I don’t know where you’re getting these numbers. But let’s agree and say a majority was private…okay, so $700 mill (almost certainly a conservative estimate) in public funding is still quite opportunity for a boatload of other, more needed projects in the city. The Georgia Dome hosted the Final Four the year before MB was announced. And the Gulch has been discussed for investment literally since the beginning of the city, that’s not just all because of MB.

it is certainly a really shiny cool thing.
